Busy working mom of 6. We play sports and are adrenaline junkies. I love books, regardless of audio, ebook, or good old paperback!
no, i'm done.
it was boring and predictable
Ava, everything about her is perfect which makes her difficult to relate with.
I wanted to like this book so much!
I was anticipating the release of this book, thinking that it is the conclusion of the series, however, it's not and it should've been because I've grown tired of these characters and their drama...it's more drama than love story anymore. I re-listened to book 1 & 2 to remember what all happened so I can prepare myself for the continuation of this story. I couldn't remember why I loved these series and I guess because books 1 & 2 had really hot & steamy sex scenes and built up the characters, but now that I re-listened to these books I found myself rolling my eyes as in, really, why did I ever like this series?! Eva's character is so jealous and possessive of her man Gideon and accuses him of cheating all the time, but then she put's herself in uncomfortable situations that can lead to disaster. She's always questioning Gideon's fidelity yet she's kisses her ex-boyfriend in book 2? And then in this book, she marrys Gideon (don't worry I didn't spoil it much) but then plans to fly back to San Diego to meet with her ex-boyfriend again! She's just asking for trouble. How can she be content with Gideon but she puts herself in danger all the time whether it's emotionally or physically. I'm emotionally drained myself after listening to this book. If you like Sylvia Day then I reccommend her Renegade Angels series. I wish she would continue down that series than have 2 more books of this one.
Entwined With You leaves its readers hanging in the worst way. The storyline remains solid, how the book ends in the worst possible way. No cliffhanger to keep your appetite wet. It seems as if Sylvia decided she simply did not want to work on the book anymore. I am hoping this was a the result of a poor decision by her publisher to split the book into two or three different books.
Jill Redfield did an awesome job but the material itself was not the greatest.
I was highly disappointed because I thought this book was a trilogy so when I reached the end I was upset and let down. I enjoyed 1&2 but book 3 was not what it was hyped up to be I am not sure if I will spend my credits on the next book in this series.
Majorly let down :(
I enjoyed the first two in the series, and was looking forward to the insights and conclusion that this book promised. Apparently Sylvia Day did not respect the intelligence of her audience enough to deliver what she had promised. This is NOT the conclusion. There are more episodes to follow. I resent the feeling that our loyalty to the series was exploited. I will not be buying any more in this series.
Conclude it as promised.
She was an enjoyable narrator. I probably listened to the book for longer periods than I would have read in book form.
Not really. Reflected in You, on the other hand ...
I have only had the pleasure of experiencing this series through audiobook. I can't say that I would change that, the narrator is crazy good.
Well I've been team Gideon all the way... even when he cooled things off in "Reflected in You". I think he has been overall solid once he decided that Eva was the one. I am not pleased that he is so involved with Corrine. Whether he used her or not, he put himself in a bad position.
I really loved the sexxxy club scene. Gideon really lost himself in the moment and thats what I've been waiting for. The dominate types are so methodical most of the time.
Well I'm very disappointed that this story is getting extended. There is too much room for error and boring filler. I do have faith that Sylvia can do us proud, but I don't like being surprised. I'm not too pleased with this whiney brat side of Eva in this book. First you couldn't live without Gideon, and now you're not sure if you're ready for forever? Aside from that Eva's relationship with Carey is getting creepy and childish. All that said I'm still in for the long haul.
Love a good romance
Not just erotic romance enjoy the story line as well
From the beginning it has reminded me in ways of Shade of Grey
Very good did well with men's voices as well as women's
Not as much as the other two but the roller coaster ride is intense emotional highs and lows
The ride is not over and I'm hoping the next one is soon I had to listen to the first two again before I could listen to the third to get the story line down but whenever it is coming out I will be waiting
Love the series and characters. The performance by Jill redfield is the best of all I've heard. She's great. But I can't believe how this last one ended. I feel totally ripped off. And to add an authors note at the end basically saying, ha ha I know u feel ripped off, makes it even worse. It feels like she was rushed to turn the book in so she just stopped mid story. I would expect a few things to be left to create interest for the next book but this was a little too much. So as jealous and possessive as Ava and gideon are they choose to leave this major issue unresolved...come on. Not to mention the fact that they are in the middle of a huge charade with all family, best friends and the detectives. And what's up with magumi??? Why even start that storyline... Bottom line...how long will we wait for the answers..... I definitely feel cheated with this one. Absolutely nothing except the status of their relationship has been resolved in this issue. Nathans death...magumis mysterious absences...karins "situation"...avas parents indiscretion and her mothers secrets...the "engagement"...Kerries "situation"...Brett...too many loose ends to feel satisfaction. A rather intentional action by Sylvia day to drum up sales for book no.4 seems kind of sleazy if u ask me and I am seriously considering NOT buying it just for that reason. Well see if my curiosity wins out and if I even care anymore by the time the next one is out... I mean the sex scenes are becoming monotanous..we know they are attracted to each other by now...
5 out of ten because of loose ends
I wouldn't go so far as to say this book was a waste of my time. I'm not entirely sure if Sylvia Day rushed to release this novel but it wasn't as compelling as the first two in the series. I guess it was just a little too far fetched and thick on the drama. The parts that should have been elaborated on were left in the shadows. Still a good story though.
Absolutely, I still consider Sylvia a great writer and it's worth the read.
Although Jill Redfield isn't my favorite narrator she's still in my top 10. I've heard a lot worse.
The plot was very weak. It was all soft porn with no substance. Even the sex became repetitive and I ended up fast forwarding.
I think Jill did the best with what she was given; however, the male voice sounded a little goofy.
The sex became very repetitive. Which made it lose its intrigue.
