Hot, fabulous, seductive
The love they found in each other
Not all in one sitting but I couldn't wait to get back to it. I loved this book.
Jill Redfield was awesome. Silvia Day should use her to narrate all of her books. I could listen to her voice all the time.
Addicted to Beauty, Audible and Life
Awesome, I'm addicted to the crossfire series. Gideon and Ava are HOT
similar to 50 shades of grey, yet so much better.
I love how she captures the voice of both a male and female character.
I just read Carolyn from New Jersey's review of book 4, ( I always follow her reviews she's awesome) I just read her review that BOOK 4 is not the end of this "trilogy". I waited to read book three until Four came out because who the heck can remember what they read a year ago?
So over the weekend I started three and I'm in the middle and .... NOTHING has happened. NOTHING at all. Books one and two were great, but not only is this no longer a trilogy but this became a series with no ending in book Four?. And yes, this was supposed to be a trilogy until the greedy author and publishers decided to draaaaaaaag this on.
Here is the message I get from SYLVIA DAY and her greedy greedy publishers: Money is more important than a good book. I have stopped listening to book three and I will NOT be buying book four or any other book by this author.
Why? Because I'm pissed. These authors are really desperate and IMO not very talented if they can't finish a book. I started enjoying this book so much more than fifty shades and the stark trilogy, but they had an ending and a story line to follow through for their next books. Now I will never know what happens because I refuse to spend any more money to get the ending I deserved when I bought the first book.So a message the SYLVIA DAY ... You just lost a fan. :-(
No, not at all. I recommend the stark trilogy by J. Kenner. Very good story, as well as her other trilogy. Author Samantha Towle is excellent, kristen Ashley, Abbi Glines, katy Evans, and Laurelin Paige are some of my favorites in this genre.
Excellent narration from Jill Redfield. I just finished another excellent book narrated by her, Raine Falling by Paula Marinaro. Loved her acting and her voices!
From what I have read so far...none because I don't know the relevancy to any character in this series other than Gideon and Eva. The relevancy is still unknown all the way in to the middle of book three. I find that very telling of .... Writers block? I don't know what else to call it when the author never moves forward or add anything new. Same people, same problems, same same same.
I recommend that if you are really desperate to read this series wait until it's finished because reading a storyline that takes over three years to finish becomes .... UNEVENTFUL!
HOT, MINDBLOWING, addictive
The passion you feel about Gideon and Eva
the wedding scene
i have hot emotional reactions to this book, scarry how this book affected me...
can't wait for book 4 and 5
Mom. Wife. Photographer. Lover of all things supernatural. Slightly obsessed with Sweet Valley High and great white sharks.
I like the characters in these books. I like the tone and the writing. But there is just way to much graphic sex that serves no purpose. I would rather there be an actual story instead of -they fight, they have sex, they have another misunderstanding, then more sex.
And this book just ends. There are unresolved plot lines that seemed to be added in, and then never dealt with. There was a lot of build up to a non ending. Yes, I know she is writing a 4th book, but she didn't intend to. It's because the fans complained so much. This was how it was supposed to end.
Another really good book by Sylvia Day, my only problem with it is that I'm done and will have to wait a LONG time for the next one! SIGH
I liked this one better because they actually try working through their problems this time instead of just running away or acting childish. It was rather annoying in the first two books every time something would go wrong Eva would act as though she were 16 instead of her mid twenties.
Also, we see more into the mind of Gideon in this one, and some of his secrets and mystery are revealed. This was probably my favorite of the series so far. There is still quite a bit of action and drama, it just seems more like adult drama instead of teenage bs.
I can't wait for the next one!
I have throughly enjoyed the Crossfire Series. This one was not exception. I read the first two book on my kindle so the narration was not exactly what I would have liked. She didn't fit what I had in my mind but that's just a personal preference I guess. Overall though it was good and I enjoyed it very much.
I like the ongoing relationship that other keep trying to break up or suggest that it doesnt work. What i like least was the overpower and constant sex breaks. there is more to life than just sex.
The hidden secrets of their youth that was tormenting their adult hood. the least interesting was the constant sex scenes.
I think it needs a follow up just to see where the future will take Gideon and Ava.
Ripped off. This is not a complete book but rather a series of chapters. The books "ends" with a quip from the author that more is coming.
No. But I will be leary of this author.
I was enjoying this story until it just ... stopped. Very disappointed.
Let me clarify that I don't mind reading books in a series. I bought both of the first two books along with the audio. I enjoyed them and certainly don't object to the series continuing. What I absolutely can't stand is that this book just ... stops. There were several sub plots that were begun quite late (and some earlier ones) that have no conclusion / resolution. There is no beginning, middle, and end so it would not be acceptable as a stand alone read.
I didn't purchase a book, I purchased a series of chapters!
Seriously unprofessional. I returned the book to Amazon and wish I could do the same with the audible version.
the twists - I loved it and the hot sex, good lord.
When Ava gives her man his wedding band....
