This story has real character and plot development. The author uses believable scenarios (well maybe the sex is too good to be true) and the psychological issues are believable. I like the readers/performers, too!
I just finished entwined with you and I loved it!! I'm about to download book 4 and I'm a bit nervous based upon the reviews I've seen. I love Jill as the narrator and I'm not looking forward to hearing a man's voice. Especially if it doesn't fit with what I think Gideon should sound like. I guess I'll take the chance though. I love the series so far and I feel connected with the story.
jill redfield's performance is great, i've read the books and now i listen to the audiobooks to keep me from missing gideon and eva too much until the next book comes along. the 3rd book is my favorite so far, just wish the timeline were not so short, the whole series happens in a matter of months. i wish we could see the development of their story in long term... oh well
Jill is my favorite narrator and this crossfire series is my favorite. I have revisited several times and it still tops the list. very hot and paced really well.
Never enjoyed books until audible and now I'm an addict.
Nope - turned a semi good series into a boring crappy one.
She did wonderful - 5 stars
Hot, fabulous, seductive
The love they found in each other
Not all in one sitting but I couldn't wait to get back to it. I loved this book.
Jill Redfield was awesome. Silvia Day should use her to narrate all of her books. I could listen to her voice all the time.
Addicted to Beauty, Audible and Life
Awesome, I'm addicted to the crossfire series. Gideon and Ava are HOT
similar to 50 shades of grey, yet so much better.
I love how she captures the voice of both a male and female character.
I just read Carolyn from New Jersey's review of book 4, ( I always follow her reviews she's awesome) I just read her review that BOOK 4 is not the end of this "trilogy". I waited to read book three until Four came out because who the heck can remember what they read a year ago?
So over the weekend I started three and I'm in the middle and .... NOTHING has happened. NOTHING at all. Books one and two were great, but not only is this no longer a trilogy but this became a series with no ending in book Four?. And yes, this was supposed to be a trilogy until the greedy author and publishers decided to draaaaaaaag this on.
Here is the message I get from SYLVIA DAY and her greedy greedy publishers: Money is more important than a good book. I have stopped listening to book three and I will NOT be buying book four or any other book by this author.
Why? Because I'm pissed. These authors are really desperate and IMO not very talented if they can't finish a book. I started enjoying this book so much more than fifty shades and the stark trilogy, but they had an ending and a story line to follow through for their next books. Now I will never know what happens because I refuse to spend any more money to get the ending I deserved when I bought the first book.So a message the SYLVIA DAY ... You just lost a fan. :-(
No, not at all. I recommend the stark trilogy by J. Kenner. Very good story, as well as her other trilogy. Author Samantha Towle is excellent, kristen Ashley, Abbi Glines, katy Evans, and Laurelin Paige are some of my favorites in this genre.
Excellent narration from Jill Redfield. I just finished another excellent book narrated by her, Raine Falling by Paula Marinaro. Loved her acting and her voices!
From what I have read so far...none because I don't know the relevancy to any character in this series other than Gideon and Eva. The relevancy is still unknown all the way in to the middle of book three. I find that very telling of .... Writers block? I don't know what else to call it when the author never moves forward or add anything new. Same people, same problems, same same same.
I recommend that if you are really desperate to read this series wait until it's finished because reading a storyline that takes over three years to finish becomes .... UNEVENTFUL!
I am an avid "reader"- I prefer to listen to books rather than read them due to the added dimension added by the narrator.
This book is a perfect segway into a fourth Crossfire novel. Eva and Gideon appear to be happy, finally. But who knows? Things keep getting in the way of their happiness, and both of them have skeletons in their closets that rear their ugly heads on a regular basis. Anxious to see what happens in Captivated by you.
