This book did not have the suspense level as L.O.L. The plot was fairly predictable. The narrator Armand Schultz was excellent!
Great writing by Thor, as usual. Nice narration, as well. Prefer this on Audible - on to the next work!
Second book in this series, enjoyed it, you can feel the character developing. Since this is a multi book series, later books should be even better
I have been a lifelong fan of thrillers from Ludlum to Clancy. I decided to try Brad Thor and while I'm not prepared to put him in the class of those gentlemen I was nonetheless very pleased with this offering. also pleased with the work of Mr. Schultz. Good story, nice pace and reasonable detail.
Long commutes need something to remove the boredom! Love history, mysteries/thrillers, scifi and bios, but read a little bit of everything.
This is the second book in the Scott Harvath series and follows immediately on the tail of The Lions of Lucerne. This book has a myriad of twists and turns to keep the reader hooked and fills in a number of blanks which were left in the first book, ending with a twist that was hinted at but left opaque until the end. Armand Schultz continues offering a great performance. If you like the first book, then keep reading...
If you enjoyed the first book in this series this will be no different. This is not a cookie cutter thriller.
Although he seems to borrow heavily from the Mitch Rapp series. Fails miserably. After Vince passed away, I really wanted to like these books. I don't. Personally, I Cannot believe he hasn't ever been sued. The series feels like a copy, a bad copy.
