I believe a story should be interesting enough to absorb me, not bore me. I live reality daily. And many times reality is brutal. So I look for a book that makes me forget. It has to absorb me into the pages. Kind of like going on a mini vacation. I like stories that make me laugh. I like stories that make me look for the next episode.
This was a little on the soft side, but not unbearable. Not as cool as the Spider, but definitely not a out of a serial box. This was a total departure from the assasins genre. It has potential and is a unique concept. I think the characters will need to grow a bit more depth in future books. However, I liked it and would try another. Thumbs up.
