In many ways, well written. My only complaint is that there was not enough action and real plot. Most of the book was thoughts, dialog and sex. Sorry, but after a while, the sex is redundant and, well, boring. A little, or certainly less goes a long way. More action please!
I am a Nora Roberts fan, but have run out of titles to read. This popped up as a recommendation. OMG! Hot, hot, hot! I have just become a major fan of Suzanne Wright. It borders erotic romance, but with the great story line of a typical romance novel. If you love Nora Roberts, but can handle the sex scenes being a little more graphic ... you'll love it!
The author's uninhibited sexuality and humor
So far ... Tarin's way of telling Trey's grandmother "I don't give a *bleep*"!!!
Love love love books and now I can listen my self to sleep. Let's keep books alive don't let those with closed minds BAN BOOKS.....
When the leading female turned into her were form and the relationship with her father getting repaired somewhat.
I laughed and cried
OK. I have to admit that this novel is very hot. The sex is very hot. The story is actually not too bad for a typical paranormal erotic romance novel. (I don't like formula novels - it's a love-hate thing for me. I am a romantic, but I don't agree with most of the formula story lines and long for stories that are more original.)
No comment, really. It's pretty easy to predict what an ending will be in this kind of novel.
I don't think I've heard her before. The narration was very good.
Um, well. I don't think I'll discuss it in public!
I was bothered by the possession / dominance of the story. This seems to be typical in most romance novels. Personally, I don't get it and I'm disturbed by the encouragement of painting women as being strong ---but in the end want to find a man to submit to and even if they verbally say they don't want something in the end they really do. This one really pushed that far with the whole Alpha Wolf male. I often found myself feeling a bit creeped out.
I have not read the print.
I enjoyed the whole story line. I laughed, and was sad, then happy, I did not want it to be over.
Each character was unique.
I was pleasantly surprised that this book had solid, complex characters and a plot that sucked me in right away. It was a fresh take on shifters and I actually lost sleep so I could keep listening because I wanted to know what happened next. At the very beginning I thought it might be another tired "girl gets kidnapped, girl falls for kidnapper, SWOON, clothes fall off," but it quickly proved to be so much more. I am definitely buying the sequel.
The only way to answer this is to include spoilers and I hate reviews that do that. Sorry, you'll have to read it to find out. :)
The only downside was that the narrator did a great job with the female characters, but I got pulled out of the story every time she switched to Trey's voice.
Extremely good, one of the more sexy books I've listened to.
This book was really good. However, I read the description for the second book and felt no need to buy it. But the third one I might buy.
A great read. Kept me engaged and entertained from beginning to end. I loved the humor of all the characters! The narrator was excellent and she created believable voices into a true performance not just a narration. Looking forward to the next book in this series!
Feral, Sinful, Pleasing
i don't know, its not quiet like blood and chocolate, but close.
it was good, a typical i don't want to like you but i end up liking you, because you like me so much?
A lot of the reviews stated it has too many sex scenes, I disagree. Since I have read the Anita Blake series, 50 shades of gray and other books who are very heavy on the written word of sex. But I do have to say this is not a book you can listen to on speakers it's headphones only in a lot of sections.
I'm glad I purchased this book and am going to dive into book 2. Only wish their where more than 2 books available. I hate when I get into a series that is not yet complete.
