Overall the story is fine. However, the sex parts bothered me a great deal. I feel like it goes way too far in he dominance thing. There's a difference between being dominate and being a controlling jerk. There's a time where he says he wants to give her pleasure and nothing for himself but then begins to demand she tell him who she belongs to. I don't know. I'm not an over the top feminist or anything but these parts in the book just really bother me. Maybe it is just me but why does he have to force things from her and own her? That's not what a true alpha or male means in my opinion.
I enjoyed this book, the sex scenes were graphic which I don't mind...the reader was really good. like I said it's like the black dagger brotherhood but with wolves instead of vampires.
I can't recommend this series enough. The characters are so well developed and all play a strong part throughout the entire series. You will be amazed at Jill's Redfield narration! She's my new favorite! She brings the characters to life and I could imagine another person narrating one of the books. Please get this!
I am a big fan of paranormal romance. Overall, liked the story and characters in this book. I would have rated it higher if there wasn't so much sex. While the author writes well I felt like there was too much of a good thing and it got in the way of the story and slowed it down. It actually made me switch between books. The characters were fun and their development over the course of the book was fun to follow, I found myself laughing out loud at the exchanges Terrin had with Grace, and I enjoyed the narrator. I will continue on to the next book in the series to see where it goes.
I am a self employed artist who listens to books while I work. I go through a very large selection of books because of it.
Although the plot had some good twists, this book is sheer erotica it is not advertised in the correct section at all. I am so disappointed with the way this was labeled I will be requesting a refund
typical trite plot. boy meets girl, gets scared of emotions, keeps distance, girls misunderstands, they get back together have descriptive sex... I guess this is a chick book.
This is probably my favorite book series. Along with the strong storyline there's plenty of action and romance. I am normally not a fan book series that jumps from different character to different character. I get invested in characters and want to continue on their storyline. I found in this series that not only did she move on to new characters but she keeps the past ones involved. The only downside that I have found in this book series is now I'm constantly comparing everything else to this series and nothing quite stacks up. I could continue on with this book series forever and I hope she does too.
Feral Sins is the first book in the Phoenix Pack series by Suzanne Wright.
