Retired high school English teacher. I liked and worked with the at-risk student. Interested in about everything, but I love a good story.
Maybe I'm getting picky - this one doesn't live up to the advertising. The characters are the same compelling characters Patterson and Paetro have produced before, but the plot line doesn't hold together.
Maybe they need a break?
This story, as usual, has many sub stories intertwined. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Yes, the plot kept me on the edge of my seat because so much was happening at once!
This one is as great as the rest.
When Boxer held her baby for the first time, I almost cried!
Worth the $$$.
For being a cop she over reacts to situations with the kid. Also letting your cellphone get almost dead is unacceptable for her position
While the women started out courageous and well centered, they seem to have morphed into whiners.
Boxer was going nuts during baby illness and even new mothers don't usually carry on so.
Others may feel differently. I think they are being portrayed poorly. They are dangerously close to a romance novel. If that happens, I'm out.
This entire series is fantastic! Can't wait for the next
Yes! Author(s) isn't afraid to kill off a main character or end relationships badly.
All of them! I LOVE this narrator!
She does a good job of doing different voices, but in my opinion, she makes Lindsay seem entirely too dramatic. It is very distracting. I enjoy the stories, but she makes me not want to listen.
