I had no clue you put these words together and create something that shatter me and build me up again. I have read all your books, but this one made me cry twice. I haven't cried in 15 years. This is a masterpiece.
I am so in love with the whole Mortal Instruments & Infernal Devices Series. You cannot help but fall in love with each character. I have read them all twice and will do so over and over again !!!
I was very disappointed in this latest book in the clockwork series. It became overwhelmingly about a love triangle more than anything. It got downright annoying to hear about how someone's lips tasted or how the smelled of violet-water. If someone told me how it ended, I would have been happier than going through the entire story. Sorry, this was passable only because of the performance.
Yes! The story is very compelling, I really grew to care about the characters.
Tessa of course, but Magnus a close second. Although the book is s period piece, she is still a very convincing heroine. She doesn't want to be in the beginning, but she grows and surprises herself.
Don't think so.
Yes and yes.
I found this series after reading The Mortal Instruments and ended up enjoying it even more. So well written, a great book and not just for the YA genre.
Artist-Textile Designer-Jewelry Designer-Overall inventor of stuff with stuff. :)
Ending! Although it was a tough emotional read or listen at the end the author tied it all in so making it a satisfying ending.
The Mortal Instruments series was also fantastic. Although they are both good in different ways, Clockwork pulled at my emotional heart strings more.
This is tough- I thought he did Will very well because of the accent. But since they have switched narrators from book to book you need to get into a "groove" but eh. still didn't change the book quality
ENDING. CRYING AT MY DESK AT WORK. lol
Cassandra write more!! ALSO made me wanted to go back and read the mortal instruments to see how characters from this story affected the future generation in the mortal instruments!
Tessa Gray. I loved how she was portrayed as being conflicted but honorable.
I loved the plot twist at the end. All the times you just wish that something turned out differently, and the author finds a way to make the inevitable change.
The bridge in 2008.
Yes. I've gone back and listened to parts again because I wanted to be sure not to miss a bit.
Well, I felt like in the last five chapters the author could have ended the book. So, I was holding my breath for the end for several chapters. But, I'm glad that she took us through that for perfect closure and really a great ending.
I love the Narrator. I loved how he played each character and he really gave a richness to each one. I'll be looking for him in other books just to hear his performance with the char actors.
Beautiful, Emotional, Lovely
Everything about the book was memorable.
There was not one scene but everything. Even the sad ones.
Will's confession, Tessa' confession, Will and Jem's friendship and goodbye, Jem and Tessa's goodbye
I love this series. Daniel Sharman was a wonderful reader.
A Great Story
I like all books by Cassandra Clare, but this series I felt was much better written.
