Tho it was a long time coming and you knew how it would end, the azile ending was disappointing. I expected so much more from the Talbots vs. Eliza
Sean Runette really does a great job on all of the ZF books, and make it fun to listen to
Other series I like as well are the Mountain Man and The Hunted series
Yes, he does a great job on everything I've listened to
great story and we'll read. thank you both! it's hard to stop listening and I hope Mr. Tufo comes out with more book!
These just keep getting better and better. I even got my husband to start listening to these and he loves them too.
I love nice Voices!
No wonder Eliza feels the way she does towards the Talbots; it all makes sense. We all know that Mike is sarcastic, but I got tired of him remindin us of just how sarcastic he is. Just sayin. John the Tripper was hilarious. This book was way grosser than the others, and that's cool, bring it on. And I hope they find that doctor.
It's hard to listen to a book you know is going to have a sequel... Especially knowing that this is supposed to be the end all.. The last book was just buying time... . It's not bad... Just feels like a lot of time is wasted with problems that could be more easily solved.
Well.... don't turn a character form the last story insane. Someone whose lived with their kid for several months in a post apocalyptic world.. .*spoilers* would not all of a sudden decide to kill him.
It's sorta okay
The author basically forces sequels to this book..... adding another level of evil on top of the level they've been fighting....
This should have been the end to the series... the author got greedy and forced another book.... now who knows if this series will end ...?
Mark Tufo’s writing is always full of non-sequiters, (more then any Family Guy episode).
If you’ve made it to Zombie Fallout 6, then you know this.
I want to first say, this is one of his best books. The stuff that happens is more exciting then the other stories.
That said, he has far too many side tracks in this one.
And 2 really long ones, that are either Filler (to hit his editor’s demand for 500 pages), or for his own amusement because he likes to write short stories.
If you got this far, then you remember the story of the the boats at the end of one of the other books, or the story of Mike fire-bombing a car, and how he got into the military.
This one has 3 of those.
1) is a 15 minute bla-bla about how difficult the Marines are, and how much they didn’t eat, all to say that MREs are difficult to open, and taste bad.
2) is 40 minutes of him waring (by pulling pranks) with the RA in collage. This has absolutely zero context in the story.
3) is another 40 minutes.. maybe 60… of him going to a concert and getting drunk with his friends. Best time of his life.
Skipping any of these takes NOTHING away from the main story.
They are all told well, but take you out of the story for SO long, that you forget that there is something to get back to.
There is a 4th….. It’s not quite a story. At the end, we start going through Mike’s mind while in a dream-state.
This goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on… yeah… and on.
The last 10 minutes of this, are important.
aside from these 4 issues, I think this is one of the best ZF books to date.
