continues to be one of the best zombie series I've read. Love the smart-ass hero and the narrator gives him the perfect voice.
I just can not stop listening to this story....once I finish one book I immediately jump to the next....love it, really curious how everything works out for the main character
I have taught my two boys at home for the last 8 years. A love of literature of all kinds led me to Audible.
I moved through these books so fast that I have not reviewed them individually but I had to weigh in on Tufo's awesome character creations. Mark Tufo, if you ever read these, John The Tripper is brilliant! And so is Deneaux , B.T., Gary... Tufo's skill is in describing real peoole with all of their shortcomings, their dedication to family and friends, and their ability to face death with courage . Mike Talbot continues to amuse and astound. Tufo is an outstanding first person story teller and the narrator captures the essence of each character in these tales with ease. Each book thus far is a perfect balance between suspense, action, descriptive horror scenes, character conflict, the personal musings of Talbot, and flashbacks that show readers how Talbot came to be the man he is.
I've listened to all the books up to this one and have been let down throughout the whole story. This one takes the cake with the final battle between Eliza and Mike basically being a giant disappointment. Don't know if I'll finish the series or not, after this listen I'm more inclined not to...
The sense of humor by Mark Tufo is wonderful. Sarcasm at it's best. The story line keeps you wanting more. The character development is excellent.
Tho it was a long time coming and you knew how it would end, the azile ending was disappointing. I expected so much more from the Talbots vs. Eliza
Sean Runette really does a great job on all of the ZF books, and make it fun to listen to
Other series I like as well are the Mountain Man and The Hunted series
Yes, he does a great job on everything I've listened to
