An interesting concept, but only to answer the question, "who is the least evil?" Keeps your attention, but only if you are incessantly bored. The switch between what was and what is can only be described as "meh." If you are considering listening, save your credit.
Retired from a sales and marketing career. I take a lot of long walks while listening to audible books, mainly mysteries and thrillers.
Top 10 great narration and the story was close to perfection
Some of Adrian McKinty's books
I think he got into the character very well and his variation of different accents was excellent.
One of the best audio stories I have listen to in a couple of years.
Hobbs and Weber make a goo team. As a frequent reader of mystery fiction, I enjoyed listening to Ghostman.
RETIRED & LOVING IT.
SAVE YOUR CREDITS, THIS BOOK IS BARELY THERE AS A STORY. I HAVE TRIED TO LISTEN TO IT THREE TIMES, THAT IS ENOUGH.
If the writer had a better knowledge of firearms, I would have thought more of the story was believable. If you are anything of a "gun person," please skip it. It's been said that the devil is in the details, and the devil certainly got all of these...wrong.
The Ghostman. He's the perfect anti-hero.
The story and the narration are exceptional. This is what a crime novel/mystery is supposed to be like.I can't wait for Roger Hobbs next one!
I enjoyed Ghost Man very much. It is always fun when you get to root for the bad guy...well, the least bad of the bad guys anyway. The time went along quick and I was sorry for the book to end. This is one where I would definitely like to see the main character again in future books.
This is a fun book, replete with all the details that make you think you understand the criminal enterprise along with a handful of classic/cliched (take your pick) personality types. But this is the single best reader I have had the pleasure of listening to. He voices characters seamlessly and effortlessly -- and that is not a style of reading I particulatly enjoy, so understand that this is the highest praise possible. I am dismayed to learn that audible has no other books read by him -- I was prepared to buy anything and everything he has read.

Interesting concept - not your run of the mill story.
Well worth it for a change of pace.
