Love Romantic Erotica with a twist , thrill, suspense and a great story !
Absolutely !! One of my favorites.
The Trey / Bryan / Myrna connection.....yea !!!!
GREAT!!! Loved all of her voices , made each member of the band believable and real. She had them down to the "T" ! Loved Myrna's voice too, so sexy , smooth, soultry.
Just a really great connection between Myrna and the band, and the love between her and Bryan , and their many different styles ! Just loved it ! Can't wait to get into Book 2.
Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who I am, my attitude depends on who you are.........
After reading on Goodreads what a fabulous series this was, I couldn't believe that it was finally added!! The narrator was incredible and I loved the characters and story! I would have given it 5 stars, but didn't like some of the turns the story took.....just personal preference.
I will be downloading in anticipation the next book.......lets not let it be too long!!!
I am sure if my time was well spent. I had mixed reactions/feelings about this book.
Justine's performance was OK.
I loved and hated this novel. It had many steaming sex. I enjoyed this portion of the book. I like most of the supporting characters. I loved Bryan Sinclair, the hero. He was sweet and super romantic. However, I could not stand Myrna, the heroine. At times, I found her quite annoying. I thought her feelings were really dragged out. Jeremy, the bad guy's character, was really weak. After all the build up through the whole book, his confrontation with Myrna and Bryan was really weak. All in all, it was an OK novel.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
whoa, yes as it is great to hear all the guys interact
all the guys are oh so sexy. Eric is just plain funny with all his actions; banging his head on the table from room service, you will laugh your head off. Trace has got Brian's six.
Her males voice are pretty darn good. I was not going to buy the other stories until I finished one book! Nope, I got hooked after chapter 4 and purchased all of them!
Make no mistake, these are erotica and romance. These are not tame. Nice job of bring in the music world. Not sure how accurate, but nice job of mixing romance and a story.
My name is Irene and I'm a lifelong bookaholic. A few years ago, I started adding audiobooks and I'm so happy I joined Audible in 2015 :-))
The story starts out slow & awkward & I almost stopped listening. Then I set the speed at 1.25 and the writing also got better. I laughed out loud a few times! This, along with characters I can admire- a degree of honor & integrity under the B.S.- makes this a recommend. Definitely if you like story lines set in the rocker world. I bought this as kindle with audio & I'm happy with the choice.
Yes, but with some caveats. It is definitely not a mainstream romance and there are some things I would give warning of to friends who may be expecting something more vanilla. There is a very casual exhibitionism theme going on throughout the book and if you have a problem with sex that includes other than the main couple then this book is not for you.
Maybe the Sawyer Bennett "Wild" series. Similar themes of being very much a love story but also including sexual exploration outside of the main relationship.
I had a very hard time with how she made most of them women outside of the main character sound like demented Valley Girls. It somewhat took me out of the story.
Nothing particular. It wasn't really a heavy hitter emotionally. A lot of the angst seemed somewhat forced and unnatural. Myrna is supposed to be a really smart woman but she's very stupid when it comes to romantic interaction. A lot of the misundertstandings are completely ludicrous. For instance (BIT OF A SPOILER AHEAD)
If your girlfriend calls you freaked out because she's been contacted by her psycho ex and she's worried he's going to show up and then you show up at her apartment and there's a guy there and she seems panicked what kind of person is going to automatically jump to the conclusion that she's cheating? It's ridiculous and makes no sense. And then the cops just let her ex walk out the door because he says he's not who their looking for? AND the cops comes off like star struck groupies? It asks for a bit to much suspension of disbelief to me.
It may seem like there's a lot of negative in my review but it's mostly minor nitpicking stuff. The story overall is good and kept me engaged. The sex is hot and well written. The secondary characters are fun as hell.
That's a toss up! The story is so awesome via KINDLE and it comes alive via Audible. I love Brian and Myrna
The older woman and younger man. Brian was easy to fall in love and his bandmates where their urging him on and giving him a hard time.
I can't pick a favorite. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Trey
The book is full of smexy times. The dining room table, the bath tub. However, when they went shopping for real food after Myrna became disgusted with just beer in the fridge. They were like little kids when she suggested she would cook if they cleaned. Hilarious!!!
There is no such thing as listening to this audible too many times. The best book for a road trip.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
If you want a book that is all about sex, you've found it. At least the sex wasn't boring except for the voice of her ex poking in at the worst times, but there really wasn't any romance or lead up to a great love affair, barely a plot line. Sex Therapist meets a sexy hot band that she has lusted after forever and ends up going to the hotel room with the drunk one who was practically passed out and on the rebound, which did not fit in with her standards because after reading the book I found out she has a huge distaste for men who drink. Plus he didn't even brush his teeth, gross, this was a fancy hotel they were at he could have bought some toothpaste at the front desk. She was also hot and bothered by all of the band members but then states that she only has intentions for him, even after a threesome. After Brian last girlfriends (plural) hooked up with the lead singer, it's no wonder why he is insecure about her intentions, which takes forever before she admits how she feels. Plus one night does not make for a lasting relationship. This book was interesting enough to finish but I doubt I will read anymore. For a book this long I need a little more than just sex. Narrator was good I liked her although she was a little over the top during some of the sex scenes, that part was porn movie quality and in the eye rolling department.
lots of nice sizzling sex! good conflict & suspence. also some good humour
