I have personally read just about everything tufo has to offer. this books gets me every single time. it's so emotional, and even after it'd finished there are still questions to be answered so tufo get onto the sequel breh.
anyway I've revisited this particular story over 10 times since it's release on audible and I can say for sure that another ten will happen.
Since Del Rey stopped the EU I've gone over to horror novels. I was really lucky when the first zombies. Mark Tufo is my favorite so far.
This took me from remembering my youth to me as a young adult to the loss of my wife, she lost her battle with breast cancer and the grief I felt when she lost our children before they were born and beyond into the nightmares I have had since. It has been almost five years since I lost my wife and I still hurt badly from that. I wrote to Mr. Tufo about this and I hope he don't say that I was weak since I was Army, I doubt that a lot. Mark is a really nice guy that I would love to have as a friend. I have a couple accomplished authors as friends on Facebook so I am not only chasing celebrities. Thank you all for having this and all of Mark's books.
Damnit Man...this audiobook addiction.
This one isn't on the top of my Tufo works. It is a decent read. Maybe it because I'm a fan, but I couldn't help but give it 4 stars for his writing style. This isn't the Mike Talbot most of us have come to know but Sean Runette brings him to life as always. If your a fan then it's a must to give it a go and see another way Mr Tufo can put M. Talbot's life through some help.
I began listening to Mark Tufo's work with Lycan Fallout and quickly became a fan of Mike Talbot. I binged listened to Lycan Fallout 1/2, Zombie Fallout 1-9, Indian Hills 1-3, and A Shrouded World. This is my favorite alternate reality of Mike's world. Mark's work knows how to pull at your emotions like no other author I have ever read. I feel as though Mike (his family)Paul, BT, Trip and Dennis are people I know and have grown to love. I would recommed all of the above titles to anyone looking for a new author.
Absolutely fantastic! The twists and turns are so perfectly Mike. Have turned on many friends to his works, and they're all hooked too! The Audible version, as read by the inimitable Sean Runette, is the perfect narrator for Mike.
It was a good story but far from the best of Michael Talbot. Kinda kept waiting for it to get down to it or the battle to begin and Mike to become the warrior that he becomes in the other Talbot adventures but it never did. I guess just not what I expect when I think about a Michael Talbot adventure.
