I am enjoying this series. It has a good storyline with a lot of potential. The only negative, if you even want to call it that is, It maybe had one to many sex scenes. Would of preferred more plot, but like I said not really a negative just my opinion.
There have been many books written about wolf shifters in the past couple of years. The Alpha pack is different in their paramilitary focus. The combination of a firestarter and a LA cop make this mating really hot.
I am the definition of a contradiction. I am a tomboy but just can't seem to get enough of romance books!
I love men who are hard to read...and Eric was an idiot who I could not help but love! Not to mention this abilities and his alpha tendancies
A woman who can hold herself in a pack of male shifters!
Rowan...I think I would have reacted just as she did when she first learnt about her new world but once she was in she was a great better half to Eric
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
Not as good as #1, it felt rushed. The underlying story is good but barely brought up in this sequel. Lots of quick, fast and hard, with a thank-you at the end! I am interested to listen to more about the creepy villian so I will probably continue on.
I don't think anyone else is bothered by this but I really hate a red-headed hero because every time you mention his red hair I just naturally think of Ronald McDonald. And as for it being half way down his back? Well, I just can't see a fighter of other-worldly creatures, or anyone else for that matter, having his hair swishing around his face and making it so easy for someone to grab. They are not always in their wolf form, after all. Just sayin'... Also, can't get passed "guyliner" and black nail polish on a hero. So I might have a hard time reading Kalen's story but I'm gonna try.
However, this was a good story. I did like Aric and Rowan. I do hope they get rid of the Unseelie King pretty soon. Love, love, love Sariel.
As usual Kirsten Potter does a wonderful job.
I love discovering new stories while driving or working in the barn, reading voraciously since I could walk. There is no genre, just magic
I like to try new authors, however, I take my lead on who to try based on the narrators that I like so well. That gives the author a better chance to excel as it provides me with a voice I trust. This series is great in story line, mystery, romance, and you find yourself wanting to know more of the individual dynamics of the other pack members. I have all of them now and have listened to all of them.
The emotion and loyalty of the members in this group who stand together in spite of odds that would intimidate most heroes in a novel. The twists and turns are great.
Where they find out the other pack member has been held captive
You will enjoy reading / hearing this novel. It is a great book and you will want to have all of them. Lucky for you, they do not have to be read in sequence so feel free to start with any one of them.
I am addicted to audio books, mostly fantasy. I have alwayz loved to read but could never find the time. This way I keep my mind occupied with wonderful stories and don't get caught up in life's stresses. I'm so glad I found this site.
Just as good as the 1st one! By far one of the sexiest books I have read yet. I enjoy the narrator and the characters are great. No boring descriptions of the landscape and sh*t...but very descriptive in other ways. I recommend this book :)
Give me water to swim and surf in. That with a glass of white wine and the sun. That's heaven.
I think they're about the same and I was disappointed in both. Neith one is near a good as the firsts book
Hard time getting through this book
