Book 2 went off on a bit of a tangent with little plot advancement and not nearly enough Mike Talbot, but book 3 is a return to where this story should be. Tons of action and adventure with Mike taking on unfathomable odds and adding in his normal dose of sarcasm and humor makes ‘Indian Hill 3: Conquest’ a fine addition to the Talbot universe. I found this book to be fun, entertaining and interesting. If you’re a fan of Mark Tufo then you’ll like this one as well.
As always Mr. Runnette does an amazing job with the narration!!!
Of course. I much prefer audio format because of portability and valued added by the experience
I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!
The narration ans story of course!!!
Mike as always...Then D!!!!
When D saves Mike and they are getting medical care and D freaks out because they would not stop poking him....HILARIOUS!!!!
Dennis....enough said....even though I want to think there s still hoe on that one...
I really loved this book, and this series is great...Not my fave out of ZFO, LFO, and IH....I would rate them in that order....oh then Tim...Tim is just gross....lol In this book I did come across a few contradictions from the other books, but if you aren't a freak like me, you wouldn't notice....I love Tufo books, I always know I am going to get a great story and a lot of laughs...This book did not disappoint....it is more military based then the other 2...but well worth a credit and a listen...Paul redeemed himself, but I still dont trust him...and Beth is a complete HO...So glad Tracy has finally came into the picture and baby Travis...is on the way....really great listen!!! 2 Thumbs up!!!!
these are quickly becoming my favorite from Mark Tufo. I love zombies and Lycan stories, but alien stories have a very special place in my heart.
Zombies, aliens, alternate time lines who cares. This combo of author and narrator is just gold. While this story starts off slow it makes up for it in the end. Great all around.
Oh. My. God.
You know, I thought Zombie Fallout was my favorite series thus far by Mr. Tufo and that I wouldn't like any of his other series quite so much. And then I met Indian Hills and D fell into my lap. Sean's reading of the alien characters really add something awesome to the book series and Mark's knack for infusing sarcasm and humor into tense moments really make the tumultuous ride easier to take. Once again, there is no shortage of action and nail biting moments (like Mike's heading back onto the ship with Erlak (not sure of the spelling of his name) and it's so sweet to see the turnaround that this particular book takes in the series. It feels good for Mike to get to the point that he does in this book, considering all that he's been through, thus far, with the aliens. I do like the high note it ends on, but at the same time, you're left with a feeling of "crap's about to hit the fan" mostly because with Mike, crap always hits the fan. It's all good, though. This one is probably my favorite in the series, thus far!
