I am dyslexic and I love that I can enjoy all the books I've missed out on through Audible!
Lou Diamond Phillips did an outstanding job. Though there is only so many conflicts that Jack Ryan can save the US from. And it was much more exciting the first time around.
I believe he took the ending from Sum of all Fears but put another enemy that hasn't yet learned to respect the Re Elected Jack Ryan.
I can't stop listening to this book, I listen in the car and find myself sitting in the car after I reach my destination so engrossed in the story I can't get out of the car.
I love how Clancy builds the details of a story and then suprises you with a crash of action before moving on.
The plot seems so real and current about today's world. complex, but easy to follow
John Clark's heroism after his retirement
I love his narration, voice inflections, and accents make the characters come alive
Melanie's unfortunate ending having to leave Jack and the job she loved.
This is the second Tom Clancy book that I've listened to narrated by Lou Diamond Phillips, I'm searching for more Of these books same author and narrator.
The Strength and determination of President Jack Ryan! The Computer Stuff was scary and amazing!
More John Clark!
Always John Clark.
Air to Air combat with USA pilots kicking Butt.
This is another Awesome Clancy adventure!
Nice job Mr Clark
Yes it had some nice twists.
John Clark in the Lobby!
Yes. Young Jack Ryan is starting to come into his own with a little help from John and Ding.
The idea that John Clark isnt as dangerous now as ever is Ludicrous
YES. The story was interesting and the characters were presented in a detailed way.
Yes. I kept wondering what would happen next.
This book is a considerable improvement over the previous two installments in the series. Most of the inane political carping is gone, and the story is actually somewhat feasible; the vulnerability of government agencies and their contractors with regards to cyberattacks is a real threat, and Clancy does a very good job at explaining the technology. True, some key plot elements are quite far-fetched (such as bad guys being able to follow a person throughout the city of Washington, by hacking in to any security camera at will), but it's a work of fiction, and in all fairness the technologies described are worlds more realistic than most of the scenarios we see in film and TV.
LDP continues the great work he did in the previous two installments of this series.
the team of tom clancy and lou diamond phillips have done it again. every time i listen to lou and the clancy story, i swear its the best one yet. this one is on top of the charts. Lou, please continue to narrate as you are really good at it.
This book has all that we have come to expect from Tom Clancy with a new twist. A journey into cyber warfare. I loved it. It was easy to follow and very accurate. Just like Tom Clancy should be. I am glad to see all the familiar faces again. It doesn't dissappoint
