Yes, as long as the narration is improved
His breathing during the narration ruins the book. I kept wondering when the next intake of breath would occur which over-powered my interest in the book. I put it away for another day, possibly, and will seriously reconsider listening to any book that he narrates.

The plot is more Clancy than recent novels, with more twists and sweeping story lines. Unlike other collaborations, this one feels more like Mr. Clancy actually showed up for the writing. The quality of research and the accuracy of the depiction of cyberwar was very well done. I found the Ryan Jr character more like able and less two dimensional than in previous books.
I've neverr heard Mr. Phillips as a reader before and I was very impressed. His pacing is great and he is always clear and easy to understand. He's not overly emotional but he very much fit the story. I look forward to hearing him again.
I wouldn't say I wanted to listen n one sitting but I also never felt a need to step away for a few days.
It's still not real Tom Clancy, but it's the best co-written effort
Really interesting story. Great insights about cyber threats to US security. As always, well researched and presented. Reader is good, not great.
When I first started listening to Threat Vector, I almost gave up immediately due to how fast the reading was. Then I tried listening at half speed. It's a little odd getting used to it for about 3-5 minutes, then, at least for me, it became totally listenable. Give it a try! About halfway through and loving the book so far! New to Clancy and very happy; I'm always excited to learn about good authors : )
A page-turning (if not listening to the audio version, of course), believable thread that you can't stop listening to. In true Tom Clancy form, Threat Vector is filled with interesting characters, complex subjects which are explained in detail, and exciting action scenes that you hope will one day make it to the big screen. I had recently been turned off by some of Clancy's later work, however this book brought back some of the Tom Clancy of old.
Lou Diamond Phillips gives the best performance of any audio book I have listened to. For the first time, I have sought out other books based solely on the narrator. It was almost like having an ensemble cast with his various feelings and accents. Outstanding!
If you are looking for an adventure to listen to during drive time, this one will make the time fly by. You may find yourself parked in the garage to see what happens next.
I have only read the first Jack Jr book. The rest have been audible and great
Does a creditable job with all the characters.
A great listen. Took two sessions to finish it.
The cyber attack lacked the detail of some of Clancy's previous technical descriptions. However it had at the same time all the anomalies of a cyber attack and like horror pictures of old was scary because of what you didn't see
The story was another edge of the seat story by Clancy should be read by everyone who follows Ryan.
I firmly believe that cyber war fair is the next real threat to the U.S.A. this story gives you an idea of what could happen
Lou Diamond Phillips is every character he plays. Mr. Phillips is one of the best story tellers I have listened to very hard to say which one was my favorite that are all great.
Captivated me brought right into the story
If you like Clancy in the Ryan series you will like this story.
The trip to Miami was not very good at all
Clancy yes. Greaney No.
Solid voice portrayals.
Huh? Like what, shoot-up a cab, sneak into China wearing a paper mask?
The first couple of chapters were a little slow moving but after that the book was very engaging. Good story.
It's been obvious over the past few years that Clancy is all but retired. However, whoever made the decision to hire Mark Greaney to write the Clancy books made a great decision. This book gave me the old Clancy feel written by one of the best up and comers in the business. If anybody is looking for another writer to follow, Mark Greaney and the Grey Man series is the way to go.
