I love clean books of all sorts. Love mysteries, fantasies epic to kids stories, fairy tales, romances, humor, and historical fiction
I love the Royal Spyness Series. This one was right in the vein with the others. It was great fun and I always laugh when I read these books. Katherine Kellgrin is the perfect narrator. I love her voices and accents. I think she does a pretty great job altogether. The characters are all great. I enjoy her Georgie's mother, father and her maid Queenie and Georgie herself. . They make quite an interesting cast. I missed Belinda a little in this book, but the Crazy Swamp lady and the village idiot make up for that a bit. Of course, Darcy makes a stunning appearance as well.
I couldn't wait to read it when my credits came in. It was over all too soon.
Good Solid fun!! Might have to start back through the series and then listen again!
mmmmmm sounds like lovely fun!
yes, because the story was entertaining and funny.
Not on the edge but certainly entertained.
EVERYTHING she is great! I could not imagine another person reading this. She is these people!!!

It a fun listen, with a few surprises even the ones you see coming are welcome.
One word Queenie
that would be telling, but it was most welcome.
Cozy Mystery Addict!
Love the Royal Spyness Series and this one adds the delight of a small english town and an old fashioned Christmas. Love the characters and write down many of the "english'isms". Can't wait for the next Royal Spyness book.
While the murder mysteries are becoming a tad predictable, the stories are very entertaining and the love interest has finally gotten engaged. The narrator has earned her reputation of brining the stories to life. I look forward to reading the next in the series.
I enjoy listening to this series - lighthearted mystery without too much blood and guts. So glad the Darcy storyline moved forward. Also enjoying the growth of the mother's role. The characters were interesting enough that I didn't miss Belinda one bit. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.
Rhys Bowen and Katherine Kellgren make a great combination for this series. I'm starting right in on the next in the series.
Witty cozy mystery with a bang up finale. One caveat: There are too many days and murders along the way. The denouement is one of Bowen's best,
