Totally Awsome and heartwarming, and who cares about the southern draw, the narrator did a good job, and when you get to the chapter where Sam and Nick experence a different kind of sex, well all I can say is 50 shades of Grey has nothing on Marie Force, Sex is every where, but series 4 and 5 reminded me of 50 shades of Grey, cant wait for another series..if you haven't got the book, do so, well worth the price.
Say something about yourself!
The story, the characters and the writing
I quite like her performance she has a nice voice and makes good different characters
I didn't like her southern accent she should improve it or just leave it.
With each book the characters get more interesting specially Sam, Nick is too perfect he doesn't have any flow and this makes him unreal.
Use books for escape- typically avoid nonfiction. Enjoy action-romance, espionage/military, sci-fi. Skilled writing is most important.
I haven't listened to a Marie Force book in years. Now I remember the reason. It reads as though the extent of Force's research into police work and senate politics was limited to television and other romance books. The female protagonist is annoying immature - sticks her tongue out behind the back of a FBI agent, can't handle getting stitches, whines, etc. What professional in any field behaves in such a manner? The plot goes nowhere for the longest time - far too much time is spent on mundane daily conversations, etc. Force has an interesting premise and could have done so much more with the story. What a disappointment.
It is a very good story, well written and read my the narrator
That Scott will now be nick and sam's son
And Sam is accepting and supportive of nick's political career
