Having heard the first two, I was looking forward to this one. I found it a satisfying conclusion to what had been set in motion by Matched and Crossed, but since it was primarily tying up threads rather than starting new ones, it was a little bit less exciting than previous books. The main characters' stories are nicely capped off-- though some of the details of the political situation and the history of the Society are glossed over a bit through a long view of history that neglects to give, to my mind, a full picture of inciting causes. Still, I would recommend it as a solid teen adventure romance.
Action. Less pining, more changes, fighting, SOMETHING! Society gets passively voted away? Such a let-down when the first two books in the series were full of adventure and danger.
No as there are some series that I have enjoyed all of the books: Hunger Games, Divergent (so far only 2 books).
NO. It ended a good series poorly.
Nearly everything. I didn't hate it but it was a terrible ending to what started out as a good series. When it was over all I could think was "that's it?!" it had so much potential!
It was the same story told over again. It needed a more exciting plot line.
It needed to be cut in half and have a little more action. It became predictable and the amount of poetry used to support the story line became exhausting. There had to be a way to still make the reader realize that poetry was an important part in their lives now that they have the freedom to create it without having verse, after verse of seemingly pointless poetry. It just didn't move the story forward.
I think his performance was great.
There were some great moments, especially with the families. Xander was probably my favorite character and probably the most complex in this trilogy.
probably not. when i sart a series i finish the series, but it wasn't great, so i probably won't get any of her other books.
the ending was ok
Yes, The series was enjoyable and you can't leave a story unfinished, but I wish it was a bit better written.
The last book dragged out, the first two were wonderfully written and even had a couple surprises and twists. The 3rd book did not, it kinda just went through the motions. I did enjoy having all 3 perspectives.
no, I think the story is done
Having 3 different people read the book is way too confusing. I read the first two books on my nook and I loved the story but having to adjust to each narrators voices at each new chapter is annoying. Ky's narrator speaks like he's in a cheesy soap opera
I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!
Sweet, Tragic, Beautiful
The Ending for Xander....he deserved it...and his part was played perfectly...
Jack was OK...I do like Ky, but it was played with such angst, and was a little annoying at times.... But he ended on a good note, so it was still decent,,,
Reach, Reaching, Reached!
The beginning of this book was sooooo slow! But it picked up in the middle, and the end was just WOW! I cried, it was beautiful and wrapped things up decently...I do think there is room for #4!
It was a little monotonous. I really enjoyed the rest of the series, but the majority of the last book is spent asking "are you the pilot?" Really annoying.
Yes. Overall I liked the series.
Say something about yourself!
The performance was good and the story a good ending to the trilogy. Out of the three books I liked the first one best.
