Having 3 different people read the book is way too confusing. I read the first two books on my nook and I loved the story but having to adjust to each narrators voices at each new chapter is annoying. Ky's narrator speaks like he's in a cheesy soap opera
I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!
Sweet, Tragic, Beautiful
The Ending for Xander....he deserved it...and his part was played perfectly...
Jack was OK...I do like Ky, but it was played with such angst, and was a little annoying at times.... But he ended on a good note, so it was still decent,,,
Reach, Reaching, Reached!
The beginning of this book was sooooo slow! But it picked up in the middle, and the end was just WOW! I cried, it was beautiful and wrapped things up decently...I do think there is room for #4!
It was a little monotonous. I really enjoyed the rest of the series, but the majority of the last book is spent asking "are you the pilot?" Really annoying.
Yes. Overall I liked the series.
Say something about yourself!
The performance was good and the story a good ending to the trilogy. Out of the three books I liked the first one best.
Love this site! I have a very busy job, so listening to audio books enables me to keep up on great stories!
In the middle. I didn't hate it, but I definitely didn't love it.
See here's the problem with multiple narrators. Yes it was great to hear Ky and Zander spoken by males. However, Listening to Jack Riccobono using his "Cassia" voice made me want to scream. I had the same problem with Crossed. Very artificial! And it took me a long time to get used to Matt Burns. His voice drove me crazy. I think that as Zander grew and went through so many struggles, his voice improved. However Kate Simses is great. She's one of my favorite narrators. But I will say it was difficult to hear her lovely Ky voice and then hear Jack Riccobono speak. It just didn't work for me. I feel her Ky and Jack's Ky were two different characters.
The ending left me wanting. I just needed more.
I liked this series well enough and do not feel like I wasted my credits. The reason I did not rate this third book higher is that it seemed like the author was desparately trying to make a point and, not only did it get preachy at the end, but it went on and on and on with reflection and I just wanted it to end.
Very poorly written. Terrible readers. Likes to go on, and on, and on about the silliest details. Painful to get through.
Don't wast your money on it.
I will probably listen to it several times. I have listened to the first two in the series at least twice each and I am really enthralled with this series and this last book was GREAT! I think there should be another book!!
The people in it.
Many scenes were really great. I can't think of just one. Maybe when Ky finally woke up.
Yes! When the mom woke up.
Love love love this series!
I would and already have recommended this collection of books by Ally Condie. Mostly because its a great story and set sometime in the future. So I recommend this book to people that like the dystopian genre of books.
The Hunger Games, Delirium, Divergent, and Enclave. All of these books are dystopian in nature and have a great story lines that are packed full of adventure, rebellion, and love.
I liked all 3 of the narrators. They all speak very clear and have calming voices.
Would You Wait For Me?
This 3rd book of the series Matched was a great end to the trilogy. However, the author did leave it as a possible cliff hanger into a second series of adventure! This book was a little more slow and not as full of adventure as the first 2 books. It however was a treasure trove of information that answered many questions and tied mini story lines together. This was a great book to sit back and relax while listening to these 3 narrators.
