yes, good plot, good writing style with good narration
yes and no, with Clive Cussler syle of writing you know who the "Bad" guy is, but, I like the way he blends in the other storyline
brings characters to life with using different voice tones
Cusslers Dirk books are like an American 007. Wuold use espinoge as tag line
This was a great novel. So many parts to the story. A book I couldn't stop. The narrator was excellent.
When the Captain was named Clive Cussler.
I could listen to him all day.
I didn't want to stop listening to this one.
I now will go back to all the Dirk Pitt novels recorded by Scottt Brick.
Absolutely. The whole concept of the book revolves around America's increasing dependence upon the use of rare earth metals in critical industries, especially the military. This book story line suggests a way that such dependence can be manipulated by the Chinese.
Dirk and friends as always save the day. But I have to say that much of the male-female sexual tension found in the earlier books is now absent since Dirk is married. More fun to have the hero be a single guy who can get the girl.
Or at least try.
We can all dream.
Scott Brick has a great voice and uses that voice masterfully in his narration. I am rarely disappointed and was not here. Well done Scott.
Whenever I want a rollicking romp with the hero traipsing around the world saving damsels in distress and the world at the same time, I pick up a Clive Cussler book. Poseidon's Arrow fills the bill well and is a true pleasure to read.
Another great book from Clive Cussler. Here is an author who proves you can write an action book without profanity. Keep up the good work. I can't wait until the next book.
It fits well into the top level of audiobooks I have listened to. The story was entertaining and enjoyable throughout the entire length.
There were several times during the story some of the background became too noise. But overall the story keep me interested and listening. I really never felt my thoughts wonder as has happen when listening to other books
Yes, in fact I work 12 hour shifts and couldn't wait to get my headphones in just so I could find out what would happen next.
Italian translated in America in 2001, work in Hospitality industry and I am an avid listener.
Good idea behind the story, too much of Hollywood style action hero totally unrealistic
Keep the good plot but write it for adults rather than teenagers
Any book is
Great movie material to rival James Bond
It's absolutely quintessential Clive Cussler, which, if you've gotten this far, you're in the mind to enjoy, and this will satisfy you and make you smile as you listen. A deffinite listen for Cussler fans.
sports announcer, cyclist, enjoys to travel and the outdoors.
Its Dirk Pitt and its Clive Cussler. Need I say more? If you love Dirk you are going to listen to it, if not you're not.
I don't think I've ever come across a bad Dirk Pitt novel. Always non stop action packed. Always twined together to make sure there are some good twists and turns. The characters are awesome. Can't say enough good about this series.
