Faction in time
What can happen if we don't wake up to what's around us
Enjoyable story line on a subject that is not that appealing
Keep 'em honest
It's the best book that I have read! I haven't had a book that draws you in and makes you feel like you are right there with the characters and all their emotions that they are feeling.
I loved Emmeline and how she is discovering all the changes and how she evolves to a strong woman.
Emmeline was the best character performed by January and her voice made her come to life.
The Fast and Furious Future of The Unknown America
A must read for people that quench for truth and knowledge.
I love the entire subject. Reminded me of a book I read back in 2000 called the Illuminati by Larry Burkett.
I thought the narrator was great. Very soothing voice
I never really had an ending. What did I miss? the book just stopped when the girl got out the fence and ran and then Beck came in with his announcement. Was that the ending? I felt I was left incomplete. Or maybe I didn't get the whole book?
Yes I would, while I am all about taking care of our earth, we must do so with balance. This books helps you to see the direction that local and even the federal government is slowly taking. While I saw slowly, it could easily become quickly and drastic.
There were several but hard for me to write down, I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the people envolved and of course the Afterward.
Unlike a few others, I though she did a good job, it was easy to listen to, and she gave depth to the people she discribed. I even enjoyed her "man" voice.
Long-term AIDS survivor, losing eyesight from complications. Ex software developer & Chicago dance club DJ. Born again & love life left.
I have most of Glenn's books but this is the first including Ms. Harriet Parke. I found the writing/dialogue juvenile. The imagery was far to weird for a period in time not that far removed from the pre-Republic era. For the first time in my life, as I was listening to the book, from scene to scene I thought, "I could have written such a better storyline"; and I'm not a writer! I have no doubt in my mind that this book was rushed from conception to publication. It could have been so much better. So so much better.
Actually I'd be interested in a re-write of THIS book by another author. Agenda 21 has the potential to be a great read and a great movie.
Because I was continually distracted by the poor writing, the negative impression carried through to Ms. Lavoy's performance. As this was the first time I've heard her narrate a book I'd try at least one more by her before I make a firm decision.
I appreciate your work Glenn, but this is a real stinker!
Glenn yes, Fiction I don't know
nice and neat
good reader, nothing to dislike
want to listen to this with my family on a road trip, excellent way to get them to ask questions
Although the plot is a little predictable, it is entertaining, hopefully entertaining enough to get peoples attention. I'd like to see a tv mini-series or made for tv movie
The story was engaging and I didn't want to put it down. It's a good story about what could happen in a Socialist type society when pushed to the extremes. What is interesting to listen to is the commentary at the end where the author discusses Agenda 21 and the ramifications he envisions if any or all parts are put into play. Some I agree with, some I disagree with. I have to admit my ignorance of such a summit and such a document. I just googled "Agenda 21" and downloaded the document. In these days where the World's current structure is collapsing all around us, it could be a good document to read and understand.
I'm a Glenn Beck fan - have most of his books, love his radio show, etc.. This is awful. The actress reading the novel and acting the parts is terrible. The plot is laughable. It might as well have been called The Vagina Monologue, but that title is already taken. This may be the most evil thing brought about by Agenda 21, which I do view as a threat to the United States. Skip it.
I am an artist, living in Cairns, Queensland, Australia right next to the Great Barrier Reef. I listen to audiobooks everyday while making art and on into the night. I really like mysteries with a good serving of suspense on the side that keep you wondering right to the end. However, I won't say no to any entertaining and well written book which has been read by an excellent narrator.
about as believable as going to heaven or hell. This writer and his ilk are really paranoid to the extreme. They must have very miserable lives.....
Trying to make one a true believer through fiction is an old trick. This book, however, is not even a good story, nor is it well written or narrated. See for yourself, if you like, but I would not waste a credit.
As a work of literature, I must say Glenn's story is an improvement over his previous fiction. As a comment on what could happen to us if we don't do more to guard our freedom, it is terrifying. Everyone should read this book with an open mind. Don't close off and say it could never happen here. Yes it could. It is, in the end, up to us.
