It's all about romance in my library! I have a wonderful husband, children and my grandchildren they are my rock.
Yes, I have been - I love the story line, especially in the beginning. How Angie and Patty hooked up.
The romance and the relationship between daughter and mother.
She did a great job for all characters.
The 1st chapter
Just liked everything...to be back for a another Virgin River story. Nice touch with getting plastic surgery set up for Megan.
Always like Therese Plummer's performance....nice that she does all the series as you get used to the voice.
Can't wait for more books in this series.
Needed a break from business and hectic pace. This is just a good story...and the narration is great!
All of them. She was excellent and really brought the story to life with her expressions.
Yes, but I listened to it while I jogged.
I feel like these people are family. I love the relationship Robyn Carr creates. I am happy she finally let us meet the youngest Riordan brother "Patty". You can't help but love those Riordan boys and how they get into each others business. Meeting more of Jack's family was good. What a sweet niece and Jack - well what can you say, wish I had someone like Jack. Another great book.
Virgin River books are supposed to be about Virgin River citizens. Naming someone Riordan or making them a Sheridan and plopping them down into the bar is not enough to give them VR status - unless you include updated back story on the characters to whom they are related.
Angie and Patrick are both good characters, but their story didn't need VR to "work." Throwing the ever-annoying Mel into the mix with very little reason didn't do it. I love this series, so I'm willing to forgive quite a bit.
I can't complain about the ending without giving it away, but I will say that wrapping up the story felt like a race to the finish.
My other complaint is that Virgin River, a rural community dependent on deep relationships between neighbors, has generated far too many over-achieving professional women in recent volumes. How many attorneys. savvy businesswomen, doctors, etc. do we need in this tiny town?
The really good characters inevitably move away to find success elsewhere or become names on a list who appear at the bar for a potluck.
My fondest wish is for Mel to roll that Humvee down a ravine so Jack can find himself a new wife I can stand.
For as much as I read and listen you would think by now that I would know how to spell lol. I read at least 5 books a week there are times I have gotten up to 10 in a week.
Yes yes Did I say YES!
I absolutely love her performance, she is right up there with Holter Graham for my fav story teller.
I found myself laughing out loud more then once.
I took a break from studing by listening to this book, unfortunatly for me I forgot all about the studing and finish the book in one sitting lol. The only thing that I will say that took away from this book was.....I felt she wrapped it up way to fast. We all know there will always be a happly ever after to Robyn's books but this one was just too fast. I would of liked for Angie to make Patty gravel a little before saying yes. But I also think thats more about me not wantting the book to end. Love this instalment it brought me back to the begining of this series with the way this one was written.
Great book with lots of the characters from previous books, that we all love!
Robyn Carr's character development makes you really feel like you know these people, they are real, and makes you want to go to Virgin River.
The reader, Therese Plummer is so GOOD, so many voices from one person! Just amazing. Will listen to all books read by her.
Come to Jack's Bar in Virgin River and just RELAX!
Terrific book. Need more than 5 stars for writing and reader! Need more from both!
Plot too corny
BORING PULP CORNY
I WENT BY REVIEWS BUT WILL BE CAREFUL IN FUTURE
