Puller is at it again but he doesn't have the Army to back him up. It was mystery, drama, murder all rolled into one very good story. Some of the characters could have benefited from a little buffing out but over all it was great. The only flaw I found was that the ending was a little predictable. I was disappointed when I figured out who, what, and why long before the story was over. I still recommend the book because it was fun and the subject matter should be brought to the attention of the public.
I didn't read the print version.
John Puller was my favorite character. He is both a no-nonsense warrior and also one who is kind to kids and animals.
I liked it when Puller took out 6 men single-handedly with the giant taking out the other 2.
This was one of the best Audible productions I have listened to. Well done. It was like listening to a play.
awesome story and the narrators are the best. They made this great story come to life! David Baldacci is one of my favorite authors. Ron McLarty is John Puller!
Great storyline and fast realistic action. Baldacci seems to feel obligated to include graphic sex in some of his books. It serves no plot purpose of lasting value. If it wasn't there readership and listening would greatly increase. Consider recording the books without the sexual descriptions. Thank you.
I hadn't read any of Baldacci's books in a while and I had been missing out on a lot. Most of his stories are fantastic. This series is right up there with his best.
Puller is one of my favorite characters. This story is very engaging. I couldn't put this down. There are many characters and, as Puller's aunt says in her letter, things are not what they seem.
About the only thing that detracted from this audiobook is the incessant special effects. I find them very distracting and overly dramatic.
Puller, I'm a Marine Vet and I like all military books, but Puller is tenacious investigator and gets his man!
Yes, but not possible, even driving across country and listening.
