Stephanie Plum's Grandmother Mazur. The rest of the story left a lot to be desired.
I have read all of the Stephanie Plum books, this was the first audio, but this one was a dud, I will not spend any more money on Evanovich audio books. The story may have been OK but overall falls very short of being interesting and insightful same old stuff and on top of this Stephanie is beginning to sound like a bimbo..
Ms. Kings was good, I don't think I have heard her in anything else.
All who follow Ms. Plum might be better off waiting until the book shows up on the discount book rack for $4.00
I always know I will enjoy a Stephanie Plum story read by Lorelei King. I laugh out loud! This book is consistant with the series yet not the same so it is never boring.
This is tough since they all mesh together perfectly. Besides Stephanie, I would say Grandma Mazer.
I have not heard Lorelei King read anything but the Stephanie Plum series, but it would be a deciding factor for me to choose a book.
Grandma Mazer going "undercover" with a tank top and Maralynn Monroe wig!
This is a great series, I also enjoy the Wicked series with Diesel.
I love all of the characters and the narrator can't be beat but... the stories are wearing a bit thin. Maybe not enough Ranger in this one...
I only LISTEN to Stephanie Plum books - I never read them because the narrator is perfect! After all these years, hers are the "real" voices for all my favoite charaters! This was another fun story full of adventure and very funny moments as we have all come to expect from the "numbers" series. Thanks to Lorelei King it was made even better!
We always enjoy listening to Evanovich stories, especially the Stephanie Plum series. This one had a great story line, lots of twists and laughs.
If you have listened to one Stephanie Plumb novel you have ... I have listened to most and have found each of them entertaining, Evanovich comes up with new stories on a regular basis and listeners and fans know that a Plumb novel is like a new program in the ongoing series. It is all there -- with Grandma playing a bit more of a role this time -- and both alpha males giving the Babe a remarkable amount of latitude but craziness reigns and it beat television. Though I am surprised we have not see a good many either lifetime or Hallmark movies -- there are at least 19 screen plays.
The narrator does a great job of bringing the book to the stage and it would be difficult to imagine any of the characters in voices other than the ones Lorelei King creates.
It is a quick, entertaining listen that would probably be best purchased on sale.
Not unless Hollywood did a better job than they did on "One for the Money".
Typical Stephanie Plum fare. Cars explode, Stephanie survives, but can't decide between Ranger and Morelli. A nice formula for Janet Evanovich, but nothing outstanding.
Funny, intriguing, & scintillating
Janet is back to good writing!! Great story line, a little too much blowing up of things, but that's to be expected when Stephanie is around. Laid out the plot good, and followed through.
I loved the scene when Ranger rescues Stephanie at the end. It was funny and touching all at the same time.
I think Ranger is getting a bit more human.
Great listen. Kept me very entertained;)
I have loved these stories through out the years but maybe it's getting old. No Im getting old and Stephanie is staying the same.
too many to count Lula always has a funny moment
no it's been done and it failed.
I have read all of this Stephanie Plum series. I was not as excited about this story. The narrator is fun, but the story did not seem fluid to me.
