"Just what you would expect"
As usual this is great, I can't get enough of Janet E's stories. Esp Stephanie Plum
Opinionated redhead who uses audiobooks to make L.A. traffic bearable.
"Renewed my Love of the Series"
I've been getting a bit sick of the repetition in this series--the last few books haven't really captured my interest--but I loved this one. Even though Stephanie is up to her usual antics, the writing was good and the story was interesting. Everything felt well rounded. Lorelei King does a great job reading--it's easy to forget that you're listening to an audiobook. The characters' voices are so fantastic (as usual.) If you've come this far in the series, I don't think you'll be disappointed by #19.
"Love this entire series!!"
Great mix of action, humor and love interest. Not a mushy love interest angle either, more humorus.
Entire series is awesome
"Liked the other narrator better"
Yes. We like to listen to books while travelling, even if not enthralled
Lola
Whatever Lola wants...
no
"Never a disappointment in a Stephanie Plum story!"
I loved how Stephanie would be tempted by Ranger but her heart was with Joe.
"Good reading, fun fluff story"
I really like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum stories and have read most of the books in the series if not all. The characterization and plot has gotten a little thin the further along the series moves. It feels a bit like Evanovich's joy of writing Stephanie Plum has waned a great deal. This book is better than the last one I read (which may have been 18) which literally felt like she threw down her pen write before the ending in the middle of a sentence and paragraph and said no more. Lorelei King definitely makes the listening pleasant. I downloaded this in the middle of a bout of horrendous traffic (so bad that I felt completely at ease locating and downloading an audiobook) and it served it's purpose well as a cotton candy low stress book that served me very well in the hour it took to get to my location two miles away and in my commutes following.
"AMAZING!!"
This book was highly anticipated and Janet didn't let us down. From One to Nineteen I have been absolutely unable to put these books down and Notorious Nineteen tops the cake!
"Another hit"
She is incredible breathing life into the characters
Stephanie, to tell her to enjoy having two men in her life
"Not The Best Book in the Series"
I have read all 18 books and loved them, but I thought ths one lacked the fun and excitement of her other books. It was predictible and tedious at times. Her car blows up again, and she and LuLu pig out again - same story over and over again. I feel like Janet is running out of material and Stephanie is not progressing as a character. She has not make a decision about which man she wants - Ranger or Moreli. Both are hot, but come on - pick one or just be greedy and keep both!! Of couse, I'll listen to the next book, as I'm too hooked on the sereis to quit, but I hope the next book has some original content next time.
"Another Stepanie Plum funny adventure."
Yes. Fun and interesting. Mysteries are seldom fun reading.
Previous Evanovich books.
She can make the characters "come to life".
