Yes, It's always better the second time around. Nice easy listening.
Lula, Lula, Lula. Always funny and always so easy to visualize.
Another great story by Janet Evanovich. I love the Stephanie Plum stories. She kept me in stitches.
I love the Janet Evanovich series, I listen to them along with my grandmother. We both laugh at the books together- what more could a granddaughter ask for?!
I've read all the Stephanie Plum books and at this point I don't even expect them to be really good. There are good jokes and funny scenes but the plot never changes. In this book it was obvious what the crime was and who had done it early in the book and then spent the rest of the book feeling that the characters were incredibly dumb for not figuring it out.
However Lorelei King is extremely good at what she does. And at this point these books feel like comfort food. Not exciting and you certainly don't have to use your brains but in a way comforting.
I am on the young side of being older, but nonetheless - wiser.
I always enjoy her books - it's my "light" reading. I, like many, remained conflicted over which boyfriend is better (although it should be obvious), and it never ceases to amaze how many fixes she can get into and out of. Just fun!

Very enjoyable. Kept my attention. Kept me alert and laughing all the way through. Fun listen.

love to read, but don't have much time for reading for pleasure. That's why I love audible.
I'm still laughing.
Grandma Masur helping with the investigation.
If you are a fan of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels, this will not disappoint. It is the same story, but I enjoy a book that just makes me laugh sometimes. Can't wait for number 20!
