Luke Daniels did a great job on the previous books, but WHAT HAPPENED in this one? He turned into some middle aged gentleman with a monocle. I could not get past the first chapter and gave up. I have already read the books but am saddened that I will not be able to finish this audio book. So weird.
It's more of the same from the Iron Druid, which is totally fine by me. Yet if you haven't enjoyed the previous, you won'τ λικε τhis either.
I'm not usually a fan of this genre but a friend recommended the series. I was surprised at how quickly it hooked me. I love the combination of historical reference and intelligent pop culture call outs. The narrator does a fantastic job on the entire series. He is now in my top two favourite Audible narrators. He does an amazing job of bringing the characters and and cultures to life. I'd write more but I have to get on to listening to Hunted. I can't wait to see what happens next!
listened to the books 1-7 about 4x now, still not tired of it. Kevin Hearne is quite funny. Luke Daniels got skillz, his voices and accents are off the chain! I just wish audible made the in between books cheaper
Love listening to audio books at work or on the road.
Yes, it was an amazing story and I loved the whole thing
Dresden as He is always the under dog but finds a way to come out on top while digging himself into a deeper whole
Granule finally becoming a full druid.
This series is awesome. I love Atticus and Granuaile together. They make a good pair and I look forward to seeing them work together in the future books. Oberon holds his own and brings lots of humor. This is a must read series.
Love to read and I am really enjoying audible. Fantasy and sci fi are my faves but I also enjoy period novels and historical fiction.
Luke Daniels and Kevin hearne are a performer and writer who were made for each other. Luke brings the well written, numerous, witty and thrilling story to liFE!! I want more!
I love the Iron druid Chronicles. They are all interesting and fun to listen to. This is my second run through of the book and it is just as engaging and interesting as the first time.
Any other of the Iron Druid Chronicles are similar in one way or another. But the feel of the books is unlike anything I've read before. It is kind of like the hunger games or divergent, but not quite.
Atticus or Oberon (I assume I spelled those right)
Atticus has this witty and funny but realistic and wise sense to him and even though those seem like a lot to shove in a character, it works really well.
Oberon is funny and can break tension when it is needed. I love his one track mind
I had several. Though I didn't laugh or cry. People would stare at me and I don't need that when I'm at work. But you get a sense of attachment to these characters and its hard not to care for them
Great book! Love the series!
I'm a 30-something paranormal, mystery, and humor enthusiast. For me, the main character is the most important part of a book.
I love listening to all of the crazy stories about how Atticus has pissed off every god. All of them. Everywhere.
So excited to see Granuille and love love love Oberon,
Least favorite out of all of them so far.
It's an Iron Druid book, as always Luke Daniels is awesome. I didn't care for the story much, the whole Dwarf tale was kinda rushed and confusing. It was almost like two separate stories crammed into one book.
