Love to read and I am really enjoying audible. Fantasy and sci fi are my faves but I also enjoy period novels and historical fiction.
Luke Daniels and Kevin hearne are a performer and writer who were made for each other. Luke brings the well written, numerous, witty and thrilling story to liFE!! I want more!
I love the Iron druid Chronicles. They are all interesting and fun to listen to. This is my second run through of the book and it is just as engaging and interesting as the first time.
Any other of the Iron Druid Chronicles are similar in one way or another. But the feel of the books is unlike anything I've read before. It is kind of like the hunger games or divergent, but not quite.
Atticus or Oberon (I assume I spelled those right)
Atticus has this witty and funny but realistic and wise sense to him and even though those seem like a lot to shove in a character, it works really well.
Oberon is funny and can break tension when it is needed. I love his one track mind
I had several. Though I didn't laugh or cry. People would stare at me and I don't need that when I'm at work. But you get a sense of attachment to these characters and its hard not to care for them
Great book! Love the series!
I'm a 30-something paranormal, mystery, and humor enthusiast. For me, the main character is the most important part of a book.
I love listening to all of the crazy stories about how Atticus has pissed off every god. All of them. Everywhere.
So excited to see Granuille and love love love Oberon,
Least favorite out of all of them so far.
It's an Iron Druid book, as always Luke Daniels is awesome. I didn't care for the story much, the whole Dwarf tale was kinda rushed and confusing. It was almost like two separate stories crammed into one book.
These books have been a very enjoyable listen. I would definately listen again. Luke Daniels is a perfect narrator.
No, as I do not really re-read books.
When Granuelle and Atticus final can realize their love and are no longer bound to ignore it.
Almost all moments were moving in some way. It was written that well.
I have really enjoyed the Iron Druid series. It's an easy page-turner and the narration has been great. Somehow Oberon's doggie voice always makes me laugh. I felt like this volume was a bit forced though. The humor and dialog felt flat to me, especially after book 4 which I felt was quite funny. Hopefully the next book will pick up again.
Couldn't put it down. The series just keeps getting better. Luke Daniels is one of the best narrators I've listened too. I will be looking for more books narrated by him.
As for the story line in this one...it continues to grow. The entire series is like one big book.A lot of books by the time you get to the 4th or 5th it starts to become a bit regurgitated. That doesn't happen in this one.
Love this series.
I have become quite addicted to this narrator's versions of Hearne's tales. He has fully developed these characters!
When the characters FINALLY become independent as the binding completes.
Oberon, of course.
This one wasn't extreme for me.
I didn't find this as strong as Hearne's earlier books, however to be fair, the bar is quite high for me as I love his characters and style.
