"Two unrelated stories with a too simple ending"
This book seemed a little sloppy. Easily resolved problems and no reason to get involved.
I usually love James Patterson and his co writers, but this one was not up to the standards I am used to.
Definitly not. One was more than enough.
"Exciting,Good Story"
This is a very good read. Its fast paced and as usual with Patterson has twists and turns .
"Good Listen...."
No, I didn't like the voice of the reader. I guess I expected Morgan Freeman!
Yes
No
No
"A Must Read!"
A Must Read
Yes it did. Like all James Patterson books, this one also flowed from one situation to another before tieing them all together for a fabulous ending.
narrators bring the story to life.
it made me laugh and cry
"Excellent read!"
The pace of the action throughout the story, never a dull moment.
Alex
Had not listened to any of the narrators before, but was familiar with one of the actors (Michael Boatmat) and was very thrilled with how well they read together.
The relationship between Alex and Sampson always makes me laugh.
"James Patterson does it again"
James Patterson never fails to deliver. Merry Christmas Alex Cross is an entertaining read.
As always with any James Patterson book your on the edge of your seat wondering if Alex will get there in time to save the day .
I like the fact that there was more then one narrator.
"Christmas for all"
I love this so much that I bought the book for my son. I will let him tell me what he thinks. But I thought the audio production was great
"Good listening"
Yes, was very easy to follow. I listen while driving and was able to stop and start and not loose interest in the book. I like the short chapters.
Loved the cute parts with Nanna Mamma. I was reading it at Christmas time. Liked the family parts
Alex and Nanna Mamma
The entire house hostage part. How anyone could turn on his entire family
Good listening. Enjoyed the ending.
"Typical Alex Cross"
Alex Cross is his usual intuitive detective, this time solving two crises when he'd rather be home for Christmas.
The snarky bad guy's voice from the first crisis is too close to the voice of another character in the second crisis
Yes..and additional sound effects were thrown in
There's always room for another fast-paced Alex Cross for an entertaining read. It's not a literary masterpiece, but it's entertaining
"WOW! Another Alex Cross winner."
The multiple narrator voices were terrific. I found that I enjoyed this more than I expected to.
It is difficult to compare this to other books beyond the Alex Cross series, and this does not dissapoint. The story moves at what feels like light speed, with twists and turns that make it incedibly difficult to put down the iPod.
I really enjoyed the multiple voices.
I enjoyed and appreciated Tyler Perry as Alex Cross in the movie of the previous book. The performance was powerful enough that now Mr. Perry's face will forever be the face that I see when listening to or reading these stories. It was really enjoyable to have that image with me as I became emotionally invested in this story.
