Excellent storyline and action from start to finish. Loved this series and the right person is reading it.
Best voice for this series
This is classic Flynn. It has everything. And Rapp is at his best. Although it is not as good as some of his other works. Last Man is still a great book. I have listened to all of the Rapp novels multiple time and can't get enough of them. Mitch Rapp is the man that we hope hope is really out there.
Yes. I love this entire series. It's sad that Vince Flynn died. I was worried I would be left hanging because this is an ongoing story. Obviously it's a selfish perspective because a talented author passed and I'm worried about the story. That's the beauty of the characters in the books, they seem real. It is easy to connect with the entire story and the returning characters. As far as a finale to the entire story line this book will have to do. We do have some unfinished business here but cancer is not concerned with timing. So it is sad that it sort of stops without the creator accomplishing his ultimate goal. Still these books are great and if you like CIA style thrillers you have to read or listen to all these books.
It's always when Rapp starts kicking ass.
Don't miss Rapp kick some ass.
It's a solid book continuing a great story about Rapp and his friends and of course him killing the bad guys.
George Guidall is a master of the spoken word. I have an image in my mind of each character because of the way Vince wrote and the way George spoke the words. Each has a distinct personality.
Vince Flynn is my favorite character. On a mission and he does not suffer fools, no matter what their position
Yes, right at the top.
I can see the theme of the book as a modern day reality in present day Pakistan.
I am sad to know this was Vince Flynns last book. It's like a friend has passed on and I will miss reading his words.
I am a registered nurse and a father of four great kids. I live in a rural part of Oregon and love it. I enjoy books, but Sci-Fi Fantasy has allows been the ones I reach for more than others.
Yes, the book was a good ending point for the Mitch Rapp series since Vince has died since this book was published. Don't get me wrong I would loved to have more books in this series but I'm not sure if another author could come in and pick up the series and characters as well as Vince Flynn did.
As I have said with many of books in this series is just as enjoyable and action packed as Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series or Brad Thor's Scot Harvath series. Any person who has enjoyed either of these series will enjoy and get addicted to Flynn's Rapp character and his no nonsense approach to how the war on terror should be fought.
Rapp-Guidall just makes him come alive. I can see his facial features and mannerisms when he is pissed off or just trying to push through all the red tape the government when it comes to getting to the truth. His attitude comes across very well by the way Guidall is able to voice the narrative. Looking forward to listening to Guidall read other authors in the future
Rest in Peace Mr. Flynn.
Typical Mitch Rapp but good ending book.
Mitch getting badly injured with major concussion but coming back to himself.
Whew, talk about majoring in minor things ... plus repeating and repeating and repeating. Not a great Mitch Rap book.
Vacationing in Montenegro!
The story is great but I had a problem with the narration-
Tried different speeds but it didn't help
I may buy the book and read it-
Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy
One of the best.
Mitch Rapp because every man would strive to be like Mitch.
No favorite, they are all great!
"Last Man" it says it all! I wish they would make this book into a film, it would be outstanding!
Great book that kept me driving around long after my trip, just so I could listen to the story! Vince Flynn will be missed.
Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this book and program. Sometimes a little "over the top," but completely engaging and entertaining. Liked the twists and turns, even though some were rather predictable. All in all, a good audition.
