"Where is Mitch when we need him"
the irony of the present day political insanity engulfing this wonderful USA being presented in a fiction novel or is it what is really occuring in our out of control political environment.
All of Rapps actions are indelible
yes i have, and consider Mr. Guidalls performances outstanding
I feel it would be a travisity to attempt to put this in a film version, one needs to internalize the statement that Vincent Flynn is presenting.
"Mitch is back"
The storyline is familiar to those who've listened to this series before, revisiting Afghanistan and with familiar characters. The narrator is excellent: his voice, pacing and done are excellent and very suitable for the novel.
Mitch Rapp. Definitely, although, interestingly enough, Kennedy is good too.
Just a good, tight novel with characters I've become familiar with over the rest of the series.
"Flynn delivers again!"
I would not say this is the best in the Mitch Rapp series (my personal faves are Executive Power and Extreme Measures), but the author delivers a gripping tale that had me riveted till the end.
What originally made me enjoy Clancy's Jack Ryan and Robert Ludlam's (now Erik Von Lustbader's) Jason Bourne is the action, espionage, and intrigue. Clancy petered out near the end, obvious farming the series out to ghost writers. Von Lustbader has beautifully picked up the torch from the Ludlam estate and consistantly delivers fun, engaging spy stories. As does Mr. Flynn with this series!
George Guidall, as usual, nails the vocal performance on all the characters in the novel. His voice is Mitch Rapp in my head. It was hard to go back and listen to first three books in the series (recorded before they signed Mr. Guidall on to read the series), they all pale to George.
Most definitely. Kept my attention for the entire listening.
I came into this series on Book 4: Executive Power. I loved it so much, I plowed through all of them up to Book 12, which was the newest at the time. I eagerly await each new novel as they are released.
I went back to listen to 1-3 but really could not get into the pre-Guidall narrators, he is so far superior that the others paled in comparison.
If you love spy novels, this is a must-read (listen) series!
"Flynn, Guidall and Rapp a match made in Heaven!!"
Everything
Yes
The Best
I love the story line, i think George Guidall is the best narrator for this series and any book for that matter. Mr Flynns Mitch Rapp series is one of the best if not the best series, its a great combination of suspense, great plots with twists and it makes us feel good to be "an American that can". Please keep this trio together!!
"Vince Flynn writes a good story"
So many of the writers who have long standing series simply fail to give us a story. Vince Flynn is an exception. I happen to love George Guidall and I think he deserves the very high standing he has a narrator. The thing about Guidall is that I do not get possessive about what he reads. Some narrators simply become too memorable and do not transfer well to other writers.
Vince Flynn has provided a good puzzle in a timely story. There are several authors I no longer have confidence in their story telling. Vince Flynn continues to deliver. This is not his best but it is much better than his least interesting and far better than his peers. The story and narrator are good company and a credit well spent.

"Mitch Rapp Does It Again"
Well thought out. Exciting. Very well narrated. The story has some good twists and turns and it is an exciting read.
"Rapp is back"
Vince Flynn never fails to entertain. I've enjoyed every journey with Mitch and this one had me just as entralled as the others. George Guidall is also great. My only criticism would be that the story seem to move a little too fast. Vince Flynn usually builds up events a little longer. I like that it really helps you get into the scene. This time I found myself having to rewind a few times because it seemed like I missed something. All in all though this was great.

"Rapp is back"
Mitch is back and once again he is flexing his muscles. I love Mitch’s no nonsense approach to getting things done that nobody wants to do. Vince please keep writing and will keep reading.
I love to read espionage and criminal thrillers. My lifestyle doesn't allow time to sit and read so audio books is really an enjoyment.
"This book Rocks"
This is one of Silva's best books
All the secrets and how they were brought to light.
George is my favorite narrator. He adds so much to a book in how he shows feeling in the read.
