Because its a good story
If was fast moving with loads of different aspects
He personalised the characters pretty well
It was a good story so iv had another one of the same series
I haven't seen this many disappointed faces since my wife first introduced me to her friends.
I would certainly recommend this story to a friend. (Spolier Alert!) I really enjoyed how "the egghead" - the traitor who seemed to think he could think his way out of a dire situation which he created - got his just desserts at the very end.
This is the first book by Vince Flynn that I have listened to, so for now this novel is where I will set the standard.
I have not listened to any of George Guidall's other performances before so, as with Vince Flynn, this performance is where I will set the standard.
The Last Man was worth 8 hours of listening time. I found the end a bit difficult to finish, as I think the author was lacking prose that was as gripping as the first 8 hours.
I have no additional comments.
Riveting till end!
When you were finally clued in on who was really behind the plot!
Excellent book, extremely entertaining! George Guidall is amazing once again, I REALLY wish they would do remakes to the few novels that had other narrators.
This book brings smiles to my commute that aren't normally there, excellent.
Enough that I don't want to get out of the car after my commutes!
George is awesome.
Pretty much guessed how the plot would twist and turn based on this author's style but I still enjoyed listening.
George Guidall's performance is totally up to his usual standard of excellence.
Good for a long drive to help keep alert. I listened on long walks as well.
I wasn't totally turned off by this story. It seemed to have good bones. I just thought it took to long to get going and when it did it dropped.
Yes, it is simply a great read (listen).
Rapp, of course.
Director Kennedy's character development by the author was enhanced by Mr. Guidall's outstanding narration.
Mr. Flynn is getting better. So many authors seem to rest on their laurels and "phone it in", e.g., Grisham, Clancy. However, this author has built on previous novels and simply gotten better with age. Thank you, Mr. Flynn.
I loved the story and the narration. Great character development.
My favorite character was Mitch Rapp.
Excellent narration and accents.
The story is great, the reader is great, and there is plenty of action. In fact, it's hard to make yourself stop when you get where you are going if you are in the middle of a good scene!
George Guidall's voices are always right on. You get inflection in the discussion that you wouldn't have reading with just your eyes.
Would have liked to listen to it all in one sitting but we weren't traveling that far! We did get it all done on one trip, but it was in a couple of sessions.
Thank you, Vince Flynn, for creating someone this good. Can't wait to see what his head injury does for him in the next book.
This book had me from the beginning and I was disappointed to hear it finish. George G does a great job yet again. Mitch truly is an Apex Predator and I'm glad we have guys like him on our side in the real world.
