Yes, it is simply a great read (listen).
Rapp, of course.
Director Kennedy's character development by the author was enhanced by Mr. Guidall's outstanding narration.
Mr. Flynn is getting better. So many authors seem to rest on their laurels and "phone it in", e.g., Grisham, Clancy. However, this author has built on previous novels and simply gotten better with age. Thank you, Mr. Flynn.
I loved the story and the narration. Great character development.
My favorite character was Mitch Rapp.
Excellent narration and accents.
The story is great, the reader is great, and there is plenty of action. In fact, it's hard to make yourself stop when you get where you are going if you are in the middle of a good scene!
George Guidall's voices are always right on. You get inflection in the discussion that you wouldn't have reading with just your eyes.
Would have liked to listen to it all in one sitting but we weren't traveling that far! We did get it all done on one trip, but it was in a couple of sessions.
Thank you, Vince Flynn, for creating someone this good. Can't wait to see what his head injury does for him in the next book.
This book had me from the beginning and I was disappointed to hear it finish. George G does a great job yet again. Mitch truly is an Apex Predator and I'm glad we have guys like him on our side in the real world.
No. It is like a circus I enjoyed it but once is enough.
Lots of action.
Too much that was unbelievable.
The Author has increadable sense of timing. each book has complemented the previous. The characters are usually flawless although Mike Nash was a littleout of sync. but that is nit-picking. the book was outstanding! I hope I am reading Vince Flynn's work for decades to come.
To your Health Vince Flynn, I hope and pray for you and your family only the best.
As do all of Vince's books
He has become the voice of this series. He lends personality and life to each and every character. I identify these voises with the books. Anyone else would change who these characters are
Though it was tough to actually sit and listen to the story, knowing that it either true or based on one such incident or even a general description based on many (rather general) story and their gory details.
Since I am only half way through I already have enough knowledge and experience to know the scope and possible killings (etc), double crosses and such - I know what to expect and will not be surprised at any variations on a theme.
Very well performed.
Definitely. Extreme might be a understatement. Reality is often eye opening and stomach wrenching.
Don't be surprised if this become a movie. I would venture to say that the chances are QUITE strong that it will either be on the big screen or on TV. Most likely "Big Screen" material in my humble opinion.
I don't know who would enjoy this . I think most Vince Flynn fans are going to be disappointed
I probably will give the next one a listen, but thats only because I have enjoyed his earlier books
The was way to much Kennedy and not enough mitch Rapp
I would have a tough time finding any redeeming qualities about the book
I loved this story and the character who is new to me. I would've given it 5 stars if not for all the swearing in the story. The narrator did well with it.
Yes, most likely due to Mr. Guidall. However, it was harder to keep track of the Afghanis and Pakistanis without seeing their names in print.
He lives the characters, particularly the Americans in the book.
No. This is one I didn't want to end.
I'm so pleased Vince Flynn is in good health, so he can continue writing these extraordinary novels.
