Don't know; I only listened to it -- the reader is fantastic and I enjoy the audio version tremendously.
Oh yes -- it surpassed all earlier "Mitch Rap" books!
Don't want to give it away.
The earlier books in this series were fantastic, well written, and kept me wanting to drive & drive to keep listening. However, THE LAST MAN surpassed all of the earlier "Mitch Rapp" books. HIGHLY recommend the entire series; don't cheat... start with the first (chronologically) in the series.... you will not regret your decision to start reading / listening to this series - its phenomenal.
Just got my regular Vince Flynn fix and it was great to catch up with Mitch Rapp. I enjoy my time in Mitch's world and am sorry when it ends.
Yes. It's a really interesting story and compelling look at Afghanistan.
The hero of course.
Pleasing voice. Professional without sounding canned. Also able to do different characters of different genders and nationalities well.
The incredible combination of talent from the top-notch writing and pacing skills of Vince Flynn and the wonderfully professional and talented reading of George Guidall make this a sure thing. They did not disappoint.
I never wanted to hit pause. The story flows and the breaks from one plot line to another is never jarring nor irritating, but in fact welcome.
There are several incredible scenes but the fight scene at the animal hospital was explosive both figuratively and literally.
No laughter nor tears but a fair number of 'oh, yeah!'
I have been and continue to be a fan of both the author and the narrator.
I was wondering where Vince Flynn would go next with Mitch Rapp but then he threw a twist in the story. No, two twists. I loved the book and hope Flynn is writing furiously. This was a book that kept me up listening until the end. That was around 4:00 AM. Great book!
Didn't read the print but I had a hard time understanding the narrator at some points due to his broken accent.
None I have read.
No - probably would avoid them. I get why they used him but it was difficult for me as some points.
This was the first Vince Flynn book I've read and/or listened to. In the mold of David Baldacci, Lee Child (Jack Reacher) and others, the hero is a tough army type with a sixth sense. If you like mystery, intrigue, revenge, twists, this is the book for you. Although at times the story is a bit far fetched and unbelievable, if you like books to keep your attention and are fast moving, then you won't be disappointing. The narrator is pretty good and conveys the different characters well.
Not my favorite Vince Flynn (American Assasin is the best) but very entertaining.
The ambush when we find out more about the other Assassin was probably the most memorable portion of the book.
George Guidall is the voice of Mitch Rapp!
The portions of the book with Mike and director Kennedy seem forces and awkward and the entire premise of bringing back the french assassin seemed odd and forced because of the end.
Awesome book well worth the credit and time. In this title some very interesting things happen to the main character Mitch Rapp and other important characters (Stan Harley) and some new characters are introduced. Don’t want to say much more than this as not to give the story away, but Mitch Rapp remains the last man you want to mess with.
There are twists at every turn so really pay attention to know who does what and who is on whose side. The Last Man includes modern day facts regarding the technologies used in the war on terra.
Like mainly mystery and suspense with a bit of chick lit and non-fiction thrown in. Severe addiction going on 10 years to Audiobooks.
WOW! Vince Flynn delivered on this one. Great plot! Mitch is locked and ready to kill every terrorist in his sight, and maybe even a few who aren't. Not to give anything away, but something happens to Mitch and it is very interesting to see Mitch in this light...maybe a kinder, more gentle Mitch...Great story from start to finish. I didn't want this one to end.
Same narrator as the past books in recent years. I just love him. He plays Mitch so well!
