Most definately. One of the best second books from a 'new' author in a series I think I have ever listened to! Kudos to 'Dalton Fury'!
There wasn't just one. Book was excellent from start to finish. Events where well told from both emotional and operational perspective. And there were no obvoius turns .. well told story!
No I have not. But he did a good job - he read the book and didn't get in the way of the author's story. His different voices for the characters worked well. I would listen to other books he read.
Yes. I didn't want to stop, but I also didn't want to finish the book because I didn't want the story to end!
Very very impressed with second book in this series. I have listened to many series over the years. The good authors improve from one book to the next till they really hit their voice and their characters but it takes 3 or 4 novels. This second novel was an outstanding second book, light years ahead. I can't wait to listen to more. In fact, although they aren't ficition I plan to go back and listen to the nonfiction books by this author.
Hard to rank among ALL the audiobooks I've listened to but it is definitely one of the very best I've read / listened to in the genre.
It was exciting and full of action while remaining very believable.
Hard to explain without spoiling the whole book but it was the last scene of the book.
The first Dalton Fury book I read was his nonfiction memoir of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden titled "Kill Bin Laden." While that book is excellent, and highly recommended, his two Delta Force novels are probably my favorite books in the genre. If you like Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Tom Clancy, and others like them then you will definitely enjoy Dalton Fury's books. His years as a genuine Delta Force Officer add a level of credibility and believability to his stories that is sometimes lacking in the work of other authors.
Dalton Fury has definitely done his homework. Kept my attention and believable enough to make me think. Ari Fliakos is easy to listen to and was spot on with his narration.
Gotta have it, gotta listen to it, can't wait for the next one! This does not disappoint.
This book picks up after the events in "Black Site" and quickly catches your attention. Well thought storyline that has depth to it, that will keep you listening. Smooth flowing, not rushed, but not bogging down either, the tempo of the book was good! Continued character development, makes Kolt Raynor more personable, and relatable.
I felt like this book was well thought about and the author took his time creating the plot and storyline. It wasn't rushed out, lacking in details and depth like some books in a new series that is popular.
I want more!
The end was amazing and leaves you wanting more.
Very consistant reader.
I am very excited to see where Dalton takes this character in the future.
Considering that I have a reading disorder, the Audible compamy has quenched a great day of time with Audible as my greatest personal fre
I so enjoy this well described weaponry and combat tactics. The fight scenes were graphiclly sharp and not too much, not too little.
A gamble on my part that really paid off.
