Even better than the first in the series.
FSOG - I'm a huge fan but this series is taking over as the best yet. Sorry EL James and Becca Battoe but I think you've met your match with these.
The end. It's left me hanging till the 3rd book is released. Roll on June !!
The best. Even though it is an erotic love story the underlying plot is very sad and unfortunately something that is in our society far too often.
Reading is my favorite past time.
This story is so close to FSOG except that the boring emails and texts was left out. Thank you for leaving all the unnecessary aspects out and just making this a great story. Can wait for the next book.

The continuation of the unbelievable (and that's what makes it so fun to hear) relationship between Gideon and Eva. The emotional roller coaster is enough to wear one out but it's certainly worth the effort to see where these two go and how they handle the journey.
One of course thinks of the 50 Shades trilogy but this was much better written.
The car trip after Gideon beat the crap out of the rock singer...the trip in the car, his relentlessness at getting her to finally confront WHY she kissed him and then their time at the beach house.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the intensity of their relationship...and it's so much more than that. Just like Gideon telling Eva that what he feels cannot be confined to the word 'love'.
Gideon and Eva have the best break-ups/reconciliations ever. Their emotional baggage and traumas always have the reader/listener wondering what is going to happen to shatter either one of them.
Ms. Redfield does an excellent job performing both the relationship and sensual story of this book. I cannot wait til Entwined...for sure.
Wife to sometimes neglected husband (due to listening to audiobooks) and mother to adult children. I am a relatively recent avid reader/listener, only really starting to read for pleasure a few years ago but now am thoroughly addicted.
I downladed this book immediately after finishing Book 1. I was drawn completely into the story and love both the characters, maybe because they are both so damaged. I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book!
It is right up there in the top 5. I love the storyline even though Eva and Gideon drive me crazy. Ga-h-h-h-h-h-h! They are so insecure and the question is WHY? But, then, it is all about how one feels about oneself and they are full of self doubt due to their abuse. I dreaded all through the book that they would finally just call it quits.
When Eva goes do his apartment and waits for him to come home. You can see their relationship growing during their mutual trauma. He says 'trust me' and 'wait.' She says how can I when you won't open up to me. They are both very demanding people who love each other and have incredibly 'HOT' sex. Whew! All of the sex scenes are memorable. Sylvia Day either has an amazing imagination or a very skilled lover OR both.
Absolutely. If I could have I would have because every time I stopped listening I thought about the events that had transpired and wondered how these two could ever resolve their different approaches to love and life. Last night at midnight I had to stop listening with 1 hour and 37 minutes to go so what did I do? I got my Kindle and went online and bought the E-book and listened to the ending. Sigh! Now I can listen to it with calm.
Bring on Book #3 of these two. I am addicted. I was telling my husband how frustrating Eva is and how shut down Gideon is and he said 'so quit listening.' Obviously, he isn't obsessed like me. He indulges me by listening to my rants.
I am a person how loves a Great Listen after a long day at Work!
If only he was real. :( I have read these books like 4 times and will read them again right before the 3rd one comes out! I am so excited to see how things start up again.
I can find a book to love in any genre -- a beautifully written classic, an interesting mystery or sci-fi, a trashy romance. Bring it!
Like all fiction, there are certain crazy things you must accept in order to have a good story -- the existence of vampires in Dallas or talking animals, etc. This book has a lot of such things you must just accept as necessary for the plot to proceed. For instance, the main characters, Gideon and Ava, are in a hopelessly screwed-up relationship. They have all kinds of problems, but then can have sex anywhere, anyplace, anytime. For me this became boring and then ridiculous. I started turning the narrator speed to 2X as soon as they started getting amorous.
All that being said, I really am invested in the relationship between Ava and Gideon and anxiously await the next book which will hopefully result in questions being answered and a happy ending for these two tortured lovers!
Narrator is awesome.
If they likes 50 shades, they will like this book. Similar but different
Don't want to give it away
Worth the credit
Yes...yes...a thousand times yes!!! If you are a fan of the genre, I don't think it gets much better.
The most memorable moment was in the car when he confessed what happened to him as a child. I cried...actually cried while driving home from work. My husband thought something terrible had happened to me and I couldn't explain why I was so upset over a book!
I love every scene with Cary...even if he is being bad. I want a roommate like him...someone who will do my hair and help me pick out clothes...someone who will love me warts and all and be my friend for the rest of my life!!!
The car scene I already mentioned...and then the scene at the very end. I cannot wait for the next book!!!
