Ryder was my favourite character, he was rough around the edge and required taming and hope was just the character to do it.
Thoroughly enjoyed The Perfect Hope and the entire Inn Boonsboro Trilogy. Although predictable, the writing was wonderful and the narration made the books. Couldn't wait to get back to these books and fell in love with the characters. Wish there were more!
The character development, everything they did was something you would expect from their personalities, great story line as well.
Hope, she was realistic, charing, and you could relate to what she was feeling very well.
Love happens, even when it's unwanted
Great listen, I would recommend to friends and family.
I love books but dont have time to read them as much anymore. Listening to Audibles since Day One I've been become an addict...I love books that are mainstream popular, whether it be fiction or non-fiction. I'll usually pick my books by reviews. Come check out my reviews to find your next favorite audible!
This one was going to be my favorite as I had a feeling Hope's ex was going to resurface. I disagree with some of the other reviewers about how Clare had her book and this should be dedicated to Hope. I love the way the old characters are still around and it definately added to the story in my opinion. I also love how we hear about Clare's pregnancy, Avery's moving in with Owen to get married and how Ryder and Hope's chemistry kind of started out in Avery's book. We also learn that Lizzy and Hope are related.... =P Anyways, great listen and I'll be looking for more NR books to listen to in the future.
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
I have not read the printed version, but I am so addicted to listening that I cannot imagine reading it could be any better.
I do like Nora's books and have read several but I've moved on to a more "hotter" storyline, Nora is tame.
I know I did not like Ryder's voice, it did not seem natural.
This was the 3rd so it was nice coming to a conclusion and finding out the secrets of the Inn but it was a bit of a let down.
Mother of 3, grandmother of 6, retired nurse and substance abuse counselor. Thrilled to have the time to read or listen to books again.
thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books in this series. loved the characters and each of their stories, loved the ghost and her story as well. i really did not want it to end.
the narrator was good, at first it seemed that he was bored with the telling of it but once i got used to his slowness he was fine, just he should not be allowed to do children characters because truly all children do not whine every time they open their mouths. that became really annoying.
Yes, I usually like Nora Roberts
I really enjoyed the first book so when I could I ordered books 2 & 3. Book two was pretty good (liked one better) but book three had so much unnecessary foul language that I really think it took away from the story. The book would have been just fine and entertaining without having to use that much foul language.
MacLeod Andrews was a good reader and did a fine job
Foul Language. The story would have been much better without it
Yes I would and already have
Can't pick one, I loved them all! They all made me want to live next door to them, the kimd of people you hope you are
Maybe Becket, bet yet I liked all the brothers
Such a good light hearted read that I couldn't put down, even though it is kinda predictable you fall in love with the people, get wrapped up in there lives. Good goos read
Loved each book. What a great story line. Wish she would write another book number 4
The 3 brothers and how they stuck together and the friendships
cant pick just one
I had happy and sad reactions but loved it
I love Nora Roberts and have never read or listened to anything of hers that I didn't enjoy. I completely loved the first two books in the series and thought this one was just average. That said, Nora's average is better than many author's best. You know what to expect when you pick up one of her books and she never disappoints.
