No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
This is difficult to answer as, overall this was my favorite of the series...I found the series very tedious.
I bought the set on sale - I think each book was $4.95-$6.95. I took a chance as I love many of Nora Roberts (not a fan of her JD Robb works). I would not use a credit or pay discounted member price.
Absolutely-she is a good author
I am rarely critical of readers however the answer to this is: No, no, no.....his male characters were o.k. - females sounded like effeminate males and children were like nails on a chalkboard (actually nails on a chalkboard would be preferable).
The family is restoring an inn and the series is full of descriptions of renovating, decorating, etc. While this info may be close to NR heart I think for the casual reader like me it was grating & tedious.
Nurse, mom, loved to read....but now I love to listen. When I retire I hope to hear waves crashing in 1 ear and audible in the other!
I have not read the printed version, but I am so addicted to listening that I cannot imagine reading it could be any better.
I do like Nora's books and have read several but I've moved on to a more "hotter" storyline, Nora is tame.
I know I did not like Ryder's voice, it did not seem natural.
This was the 3rd so it was nice coming to a conclusion and finding out the secrets of the Inn but it was a bit of a let down.
Mother of 3, grandmother of 6, retired nurse and substance abuse counselor. Thrilled to have the time to read or listen to books again.
thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books in this series. loved the characters and each of their stories, loved the ghost and her story as well. i really did not want it to end.
the narrator was good, at first it seemed that he was bored with the telling of it but once i got used to his slowness he was fine, just he should not be allowed to do children characters because truly all children do not whine every time they open their mouths. that became really annoying.
Yes, I usually like Nora Roberts
I really enjoyed the first book so when I could I ordered books 2 & 3. Book two was pretty good (liked one better) but book three had so much unnecessary foul language that I really think it took away from the story. The book would have been just fine and entertaining without having to use that much foul language.
MacLeod Andrews was a good reader and did a fine job
Foul Language. The story would have been much better without it
Yes I would and already have
Can't pick one, I loved them all! They all made me want to live next door to them, the kimd of people you hope you are
Maybe Becket, bet yet I liked all the brothers
Such a good light hearted read that I couldn't put down, even though it is kinda predictable you fall in love with the people, get wrapped up in there lives. Good goos read
Loved each book. What a great story line. Wish she would write another book number 4
The 3 brothers and how they stuck together and the friendships
cant pick just one
I had happy and sad reactions but loved it
I love Nora Roberts and have never read or listened to anything of hers that I didn't enjoy. I completely loved the first two books in the series and thought this one was just average. That said, Nora's average is better than many author's best. You know what to expect when you pick up one of her books and she never disappoints.
I'm addicted to Audible. May need an intervention!
I love these books and just recently discovered from Nora Roberts' website that Inn Boonsboro is a real place. I know where I'm going on my next vacation! If only there was an available Montgomery brother left!
I am immortal ....so far. I enjoy a god story and love a great narrator. :-)
Handsome rich man with no body fat falls for a lovely women and they all live happily ever after. Fluff listen, no thought involved but liked the narrator.
I am a mother of 16 yr old twins..Mikael&Miranda. My kids think I am a big dork listening to my books. I love to read but its nice to read twice as many books and listen while working.
I loved all three of the BoonsBoro books...I always want more on where the couples ended up.
