More detailed epilogue
Didn't like him as well in the first of the trilogy, but really enjoyed his expression and narration in this book
Touching side story with some historical features
I would recommend starting with book #1 but these are great stories that will capture your attention. I couldn't stop listening.
One of my favorites
There was love, suspense and mystery
I don't usually like men narroritors, but he was good
This book was good, the second best in the series. But book 1 was the best, by far. Other than the romance, it had the most interesting side story. The narrator was the same in each book, which is nice. I know some people had issue with him, but I thought he was just fine. However, I did have to speed up the playback a little.
Vicki L. Bonachea
I love almost everything Nora Roberts writes. This book is no exception. Great characters, good story line. Tied the trilogy up nicely.
Always enjoy Nora Roberts books. I read the first two in this series and thoroughly enjoyed them Due to time limits I decided to get the audible version of this book. I enjoyed the story, but the male narration threw me for a loop! He was OK - but when I listen to Nora Roberts I prefer a female narrator - -
It is such a shame that the narration is so bad on this trilogy. The story is good, and I could, "almost", identify with the characters. However, the narration continues to be a problem. This time, I was unable to speed the narrator up to a reasonable speed by increasing the playback to 1.5x ... it was way too fast in this novel. So, I just had to suffer through the LONG pauses and drawn out sentences.
The story is good.. the plot and romance was typical Nora..
I'd just avoid this narrator in the future.
I have mixed feelings about recommending this listen.. if you can stand long, long pauses.. and a slow reader,.. ok.
Actually, it is a great substitute for a sleeping pill!
I haven't read a Nora Roberts trilogy in at least 5 years, but the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy reminded me why I like her writing so much. I would recommend all three books in the trilogy. The characters are well developed and the relationships that are formed are deep and abiding. I especially like the auxillary characters and the sense of family in these books. All three are very entertaining.
This was my first Nora Roberts series. They are pretty predictable but a nice and easy, fun romance
I like listening to books on tape so I prefer listening to it.
In this book Ryder
I just like that it was consistent with the other books.
I did find the recollection of war moving but otherwise I still found the whole ghost aspect of the book quirky.
I like a good trilogy and I think this one fits into that description.
