Absolutely, it is great, interesting story, great reader
Keeps you entertained, Ms Deveraux's books can be a little too long but this one in particular just keeps you glued to the story
All of them where the two main characters are trying to get to know each other but don't say all that's on their mind
Yes but that's impossible, toooooo long
Clear voice, good dramatization.
All of it does in different ways. The story is very real, one that so many of us can relate to. But the ending is the clincher.
Had read this book years ago and saw it on audible and wanted to revisit it. What a fantastic story. Good escape, lots of laughs, but the content is substantial. Five stars Deveraux!
I love history and Romance. Reading is a passion of mine and I work so much that now I can blend my passion and work at the same time!
Yes - Because I think every woman can relate to heart break and wanting that guy that sweeps you off your feet.-
This book made me want to read more of her other books!
Excellent narrator, intriguing story. Beautiful love story
The characters were so believable in what should be a totally unbelievable story line
His portrayal of each character is unique and the emotion of the character shines through
I read a lot of historical romance but this one stands out above all others
Wish it didn't have to end and hope I find another like it
The female lead was a little too stupid and whimpy for my taste. Although she toughen up a little towards the end, I found it hard to care what happened to her cause she was so stupid. I would have made her stronger with just a series of circumstances that ended her up where she was, not her being stupid and letting people walk on her.
I would have made my lead a little less whimpy.
Steve West's voice is perfect for this type of story. He did a great job with the characters. It was by far my favorite part of the book, listening to him.
I wasn't Sure about A Knight in Shining Armor. I find that with Jude Deveraux, sometimes I'm completely enthralled in one of her books. and other times I struggle to finish some of her other books. I'm glad I gave this one a shot I thoroughly enjoyed it.
i've read the book and listened to the abridged version read by Stephanie Zimbalist which is fantastic...
i was very excited finding an unabridged version but the narrator gave me such a bad headache i couldn't finish it....waste of your credit...
A better narator
the Outlander Series because they both deal with time travel and love stories
not in the form of a romance novel.
I wouldn't cut a single character but I would cut the narator.
I have read the actual hardcover book when it first came out and absolutely loved it! Finished it in 4 hours and have read it at least 4 times. Steve West made Douglas sound as whinny as Gloria. Total turn off. Let him stick to stories that do not involve female characters as he does not do them justice. This presentation made me pick up the book and read it for myself again I could not get through this story with the narator at all.
Haven't read the print version, but would like to.
Except for her name, Douglas, I enjoyed the main female character. The author portrayed her as any woman would act having a knight from 400 years ago appear before her.
Would have liked to have heard the women's voices portrayed differently. Mr. West performed the male characters very well.
Love that spans the ages!
Prepare for an emotional ride, the extremes of love, heart ache, happiness and despair.
I wish the story would have continued a bit beyond the end. It's like dropping one's child off on his/her first day of school. You know they will be ok, but you're not there to see it and feel it.
This is a surprisingly good book. While it is technically a Romance, it is also a time travel fantasy. The story line is much richer and more interesting than I expected with a surprising ending. The characters are richly drawn, the narrator is good and I found myself listening to it more than once, a good sign in my case. I encourage you to give it a try.
