I didn't realize "young adult" equated to a three year old these days. There is nothing left for the audience to figure out for themselves. Everything is so repetitive that it is impossible to miss anything going on, and it's not in a good way. It's like every few minutes I'm screaming at the narrator, "Ok! We get it already! You've already made your point and 5 times over again!"
On the plus side I'm curious as to what will happen next. So when I regain my patience, I will probably eventually continue the series.
Sylvia Redbird has more parts to this book. The twins are no longer TWINS.. there are more things I loved to learn, but I think the reader needs to learn by reading the book and me not telling all the goodies upfront...
Zoey is always my favorite, then Stark!
She is a better reader for Stevie Rae. Her voice sounds more like she's from Texas as well.
When I thought Neferet would succeed in the death of Sylvia Redbird..
Waiting on REDEEMED! The final novel in the HoN series...OCTOBER 2014
I'm a little Sad it's gonna be over, I'm also eager to know who wins... Light or Darkness...
I enjoyed many of the other books, but hearing it on audio made it a poor experience. Pehaps much younger kids would enjoy iy.
empashasis on words seemed innapropriate. Distracting. Tone seemed off. Pacing seemed off. It really distracted from the book. I did not like the narrator.
Hidden was one of the better audio books I have gotten so far. The characters were well defined with the narrator and the feeling of the book was just like it was when I read the hard copy
Stevie Rae will always hold a special spot in my heart for her compassion
I love this series, and I rave about it to all of my friends.
The series continues to shock and amaze me. Therefore, I loved everything.
The inflection in her voice adds considerable charm to the characters.
This book left me craving more.
I would recommend this series to anyone who loves romance and drama.
No, the story line seemed to very hogue pogue, kinda bland and simple.
The foul language was pretty intense in this book compared to the earlier House of Night books and that kinda put me off of it.
Voice was kinda irriating
Can I get a refund?
Yes, the narrator brings the text to life. Her voice play matches the characters nicely.
Have some sort of ending, vs a never ending climax towards the end of all the books. It honestly seems like the series will go on forever.
Grandma Redbird. I love the imitation she did of her voice.
Wow, this would be a never ending film. We are ten books into the series with no end in sight.
This book is for a 14-year-old girl, not a 30-year-old woman. I started reading the series, because let be honest, Vampire trash is addictive. But this will be my last book in this series. The writing is terrible and the story and references is aimed at entertaining an early puberty girl.
The story is really dragged out, but besides that maybe my problem with this book is just that I'm completely not the target audience. Again, this is for a 14 year old girl.
Not much, he narration was fine.
If you are older than 16 or have more behind your name than matric, dont bother, you will cringe all through the book.
Caitlin is no Edwina Wren, but this is MUCH better than jenna or cassandra (books 4-6). Still think there needs to be more difference in the character voices, but at least her voice and inflection is tolerable. She definitely gets bonus points for mostly correct pronunciations, for example sons of erubis and refeim.
I like the development of Lenobia's character in this one and the changes in Aurox. Glad this one actually ended at a good point and didnt leave us with a hugh cliffy like the last book.
