Sorry Rick Riordan, When I reviewed the blood of Olympus I said that the author was horrible but it was the narrator that was awful. Your books are great, I really really love this one😀👍. Keep writing hero stories Rick, Your awesome.
That it wasn't longer
I read all his stories
No detractions, easy to follow, great depictions of the character's voices.
Can't think of one
The Narrator really captured the whole cast incredibly. Anna Beth's personal quest and struggles as well as the wonderful yet horrible ending had me biting my nails!
Can't say so no spoilers here. Just know that this book is going to make you wish you were a child of Athena.
The last few chapters were unbelievable.
Yes, and then re-listen to make sure that I got all the wonders Riordan had written.
BUY THIS BOOK ITS WORTH IT! (if you have read/listened to the first two books but still worth it, just might not quite be as epic)!
Such a great series, such a great narrator!!!
Joshua Swanson has the ability to make the book & characters come to life. I'd definitely listen to more books narrated by him. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed the narrator changed after this book - the pronunciations & voices of the character change, not for the better! =(
These books are so well done! They have engaging characters interwoven into modern versions of ancient myths & morality tales. I recommend them highly. Kids/teens will identify with the characters, learning by accident. (Too bad they really, really messed up the movies.)
The author did a good job of wrapping up the many plot lines without making it seem contrived or rushed. The characters have to examine what is the honorable, right, fair, just, honest, & loyal thing to do as they complete their adventures with humor and derring-do. They form close friendships & learn about themselves.
