I liked this book. It was good but not great. The storyline is predictable but sweet. The narration by Madeline Maby is good. I think she sounds a lot like Grace a Grant with a little bit of a softer tone.
I love reading but don't have time. The audiobooks allow me to hear the books I want to read. I love audible!
I love Michael he does something for me. The heat between him and Maggie makes me fan myself. This is my second time listen to this book.
These stories by Jennifer touch your heart. They are broken people who found themselves with the help of a new love. I like how you laugh, cry and then laugh again with these books.
The first in the series was pretty good. But this is basically a knockoff of the first book. Slightly different situations but basically the same story line. The narrator is better for this one although her Italian accents are terrible. Also, I found the writing and this one to be worse. She uses the word "capiche" at least 10 times if not more.
Three reasons I didn't like this book: 1) Main female is obnoxious. 2) All the women seem hysterical. 3) Hysterical and obnoxious female characters.
It's formulaic but still a great read. Very entertaining, a nice weekend read. Keep writing and well keep reading.
reviewed wrong book for one more day
The fact that it was set in Italy in a different culture.
Maggie was my favourite character, loved her sass.
Just like I couldn't put the first book down, I couldn't stop listening to this one either!!
Not at all. This book was literally the exact same as The Marriage Bargain with different character names and of course the characters from The Marriage Bargain were in this book. Waste of time just listen to the Marriage Bargain twice and save yourself a credit.
Not really, not only is it a carbon copy of The Marriahe Bargain but it's not even that good of a story. It wasn't horrible at all but nothing memorable either.
No favorite, nothing stood out
It could be a Lifetime movie for sure and it would be an okay movie to watch on a rainy Sunday
Don't waste your credit.
I love that the series includes characters from previous books. It previews the story to come. I love that there is bits of humor. I had one moment where I actually laughted out loud.
The entire Vegas interaction.
Max- I actually liked him better than Carina
The Series is in the top three of any series I have read!
The Italy component! (and all the talk of desserts!)
