I got this as frequent listener special and found the story to be unusual and interesting. Similar in many ways to the new USA series "Perception", its a unique look at the sane and insane side of schizophrenia. Both Legion and Perception treat the illness as an asset making the protagonists a type of savant. There are hints to a backstory and future possible episodes that makes me wonder how this came to be. Was the author testing the waters for a possible new book series. It was good enough that I'd take another journey with "Legion"
Short and sweet reviews, Allentown pa
Can't believe it's free, like others wish it were longer, and/or a series. Love these originally thought of books. Narrator was great.
This was a fun novella from the distinguished Mr. Sanderson. The main character was instantly likeable and it was a unique take on an action story, with all the different personalities. It held my interest well and I actually wanted to go in the car somewhere so I could listen. The narrator with a nice job with varying voices. I have enjoyed other tales by Sanderson and would pick this narrator again for other audio books.
10 heads are better than one!
I love learning thru books, about life, people and ways to be better. My best listen so far? The Power of Now, have a good listen!
It has been a few couple of books that I havent encountered something I couldent drop. This is an interesting story, interesting caracter, fun and fast paced. You won't regreat it!
An old broad that enjoys books of all types. Would rather read than write reviews though. I know what I like, and won't be bothered by crap.
I thought the narrator was above average and helped you envision what the lead character's life was like with many aspects.
The multiple personality syndrome turned into a detective story. Very unique.
His voices are great and helped to explain the different personalities.
I laughed when you find out that two of his aspects were having an affair! Very clever!
Interesting book. I have never heard of this author before but I may want to read some more of his work.
This should be a series... fun premise, good characters... simply clever. I hope to see more!
True Blood of Manetheren
The story was great. However, the narration made me cringe. It's as if the narrator had never spoken to a real Filipino person before. Please don't ever let this narrator try a Filipino accent again!
This was an excellent short story. The concept was unique and even though many characters were introduced in a short time, it never became confusing to me as a reader/listener. I can only hope that Sanderson will revisit it at some point and turn it into a full length novel or series. Apparently, the movie rights have been optioned as well, and I would be first in line to see that. It is that good.
I am a fan of Oliver Wyman and the Monster Hunter series. My only critique (though I say this somewhat tongue-in-cheek) is that I kept waiting for Stephen Leeds to say "My name is Owen Zastava Pitt" for the first 10 minutes. Once I was able to become engrossed in the story, this was no longer distracting. Wyman does an excellent job on the many voices introduced in the novella.
I am a novelist and short story writer.
Mr. Sanderson, turn this into a full novel and I will definitely buy it. The novella was excellent, but far too short.

I want more.
I hope this is just a prelude to a new series with this char. Very interesting. Certainly want more of this.
