Sanderson truly transports you into a different world. The main character in this novel is particularly intriuging.
Overall, the whole thing felt a bit rushed. Like it was maybe two or three chapters out of a single novel. Nothing was missing, per se, but it felt lacking.
Proof that it's still possible to write a truly unique take on a classic mystery genre. The eccentric personalities of each character in the book are given a distinct voice by the narrator, I truly hope the author explores this character further.

In a story with few living characters and many more imaginary, yet forgetfully real characters, it is unfair to ask for a "favorite character". If I must pick one, it would be Stephen Leeds as that encompasses the majority of the cast.
Stephen Leeds Et al.
I very much enjoyed the performance of the narrator. The story came to life. Use Audible for bedtime stories to get to sleep. When the stories and narrations are good I try to find the point where I fell asleep to continue. That is always the case with this story.
