I Love the narration of Keith Nobbs.... Hes was great!
I feel like when I listen to the books the narrators bring it to life
Maybe but I found the writing confused
Apart from the torture and the depressing world, the story didn't make much sense
They did a good job of making the characters seem real despite the rather stilted dialogue
The story continues but I wouldn't want to read any more
Seems very overrated. Maybe young teens like it better.
I just love this book. The characters are great, I love the narrator Emma Galvin ( I also like Keith Nobbs but this is the only book I've heard him in so far). And I just gotta say I LOVE JACK!!! I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
Great story line, but it was so depressing I couldn't finish it. Not just depressing, but I couldn't make myself finish the book, it dragged on and on. I listen at work and enjoy longer books, but every time I try and finish the last hour, I would rather listen to babies cry on an airplane. I wish Audiable had a refund policy. The performance was decent, it was the slow storytelling and lack of content.
One of my favorites!
I just recently got up to date with Cole's IAD series. When the withdrawals for waiting for the next book began, I decided to give her Aracana Chronicles series a try. This is a YA/New Adult/Apocalyptic/Paranormal Romance novel. After a solar flash leaves the earth in an apocalyptic state, select survivors begin to discover they've been reincarnated to play out their roles in a deadly game. These characters are based off a deck of Tarot cards and come with their own unique super abilities. The first section of the book is a little slower, as it's centered more on character development. But the action comes pretty quickly once the solar flash hits. Jackson Deveaux, the romantic interest, is super hot. I don't know that I've read a romance with a Cajun for the lead.
Both performers did outstanding jobs!
I can't stop reading this over and over! Definitely my favorite book series! Just so hard to put the book down no matter how many times I read it!
I love this book and this series. I got into Kresley Cole's adult series at first but love this even more. The story is fresh, the characters unique, the surprises, shocks, clues and development riveting. I've read all three so far in print and listened to each at least twice in audio. The reading is perfect for the characters and paints such a clear view and tone to what I originally narrated in reading the paperback. This tale is not for the faint hearted and does get graphic in a gory sense in some occasions, but that just makes it so much more real. Highly recommended!

Soo... I got hooked on the immortal series and I finished it... Until the bext book is published and I was just hungry for another Kresley Cole book... This book is sooo slow its painful... But im kind of hooked to know what is going to happen next... Im comparing this to the immortal series which was funny and sassy... Just love them valkaries lol. Evie hasnt even come into her powers yet and im like dang... When is she going to... Thos book is so drawn out and it doesnt really need to be... Then its mostly told from Evie's perspective... Annoying... I want to know what Jack is thinking as well... Ugh... Kind of disappointed with this book... Hopefully the next book will be better...
