Happily Ever After
I loved that this book had everything I want in a good story. Great characters, great plot, wonderful voice to listen to while getting involved in the story and hard problems to solve.
Kirsten Potter did an excellent job with the narration, especially the accents.
She lived in a world of her own making, until he woke her up from her hibernation.
Great book. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Maya Banks delivered!!!! The story was very good and it provides the set up for a very good series. I like that Evaline was hearing impaired although her ability to speak was one of the hardest things to believe due to the fact that this book is narrated. The narrator cannot really speak like a deaf person who hasn't spoken in three years, but regardless, she did a great job.
Very good and would highly recommend.
I loved this book. I just read it for the second time and still enjoyed it immensely. I read it initially in 2012.
I like this book very much. It's definitely one of my favorites. The story is great...not over doing it on the sex scenes which was nice.
Kirsten Potter does an excellent job of narrating. It's like watching a movie.
I really enjoyed listening to the audio version
You could feel the passion in her voice for the character
Although this was on my wish list for some time, I was reluctant to purchase it because I was disappointed in Banks's first McCabe book. Since this was another Highland series, I expected it to be similar. When it went on sale, though, I took a chance and purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually really enjoyed this story. The story was refreshingly unique in the Highland romance genre. I also liked Kirsten Potter better as the narrator in this one for some reason. I definitely recommend it!
My favorite things are my family and my books! Depending on the day, not in that order. :)
I loved this book! Super strong main characters, great secondary characters and a fantastic story line.I loved how the relationship blooms. No matter what Eveline comes up against, she is strong and true to herself. Graham is a strong and wonderful man who shows that he has a tender side. Even with all of the pain and horrible things that have happened in the past, they find a way to work around it and come together as a team. Can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
I love the fact that there is something that physically challenges each female lead but they overcome it.
I did love it!
I look forward to seeing the stories of all of the brothers and Rory.
Yes, Absolutely. It was such a great story. It was suprisingly captivating so much that you wanted to cheer for Evelyn overcoming all obstacles.
The most suprising moment was when Evelyn runs away admiting defeat finding out she had been made a fool from the people of her new clan. She is out in the fields when someone injures her husband, she overcomes her fear of horses and goes to get help screaming at the top of her lungs to the point of injury(she had not spoken for 3 years). She is dropped by the horse and gets back up again and leads the men to her husband. She stays 4 days by his side with no food, sleep, or bathing. When her husband comes too, she quickly crumbles to accept are her needs and pain she had been avoiding. When the healer checks her she is black and blue all over her body. Evelyn is a great example of a determined woman!
Yes, All the details and descriptions. This book was viewed as a movie in my mind. That's how I know.
Yes, I was crying and cheering for Evelyn.
Yes, I want more!
