Miranda Hart reads her own book 'Is It Just Me?' and she does so in such a classic Miranda style that you cannot help but love it! She is relaxed and intimate with the listener whilst maintaining her usual air of misguided confidence. She clearly writes as she speaks and, let's face it, we love her on the telly for that frank, honest way she rips the proverbial out of herself.
I like the way she tries to explain to her younger self why she is where she is now because I can really relate to that - I'm positive my 18 year old self would be gobsmacked to know how differently my life turned out!
All this she does with a healthy sense of humour and without taking herself seriously. I loved it and would thoroughly recommend it, especially to Miranda fans.
"Is It Just Me?"
To hear Miranda narrate her own book is fantastic. Recommend this book as one to whiz through, light hearted and very funny, well worth reading/listening too
This is my first purchase. I rarely read books, I am afraid to admit but I really like listening, much easier and you can do other things at the same time.
I think you have to like Miranda on television, to like this book. It is great having the author reading to you. I LOVE 18 year old Miranda.
I really recommend this : )
"Is it just me?"
I love Miranda Hart, so funny and this comes across to the listener of this well written book. Loved the fact take Miranda read it , it may not have been so funny if it were read by anyone else and I recommend it as a audio book rather than the self read book. Excellent.
"It is just her!"
Entertaining and read by the author, exactly as she does it on television, with comic asides to the listener.
"Hearty laughs and refreshingly honest"
This book is everything we love about Miranda. Heartwarming stories mix with her usual brand of self-deprecating humour, all read by the author herself, to create a book that can easily be listened to in short bursts or all day.
I won't give any content away but, if you're a fan of Miranda Hart, then this should be considered a definite must-have.
A great audio book hilarious to listen to wherever you are. You will benefit even more if you are familiar with Miranda's own tv show which is a humorous watch for the family or alone.
"Classic Miranda Hart at her best"
Listening to the audible version of "Is It Just Me" narrated by Miranda Hart was a blast of great fun right from the start. A long drive to Suffolk disappearred in an instant and was of the funniest journeys ever.
If you like me love Miranda Hart in her television programme you will enjoy Is it Just Me? This book is her hilarious take on life and its trials and tribulations. She has a unique take on ordinary situations which nevertheless ring true to everyone and it often made me laugh out loud.
"Is it just Me?"
my first time listening to an audio book. This book not really my cup of tea=dispite sugar to sweeten the story!.
