I know nothing about Miranda Hart and bought this book based on countless good reviews, (which is what compelled me to write this review) however I was bitterly disappointed. I can see how the humor would work in stand up but comes across contrived and unintelligent in book form. I wish I had something good to say but I couldn't even finish the book.
I love the Miranda TV series - so looked forward to listening to this. However it's just plain silly - tedious - and predictable. So disappointed - I managed 2 hours of the 7 - and gave up - I won't be finishing this one
Lovely to listen too Miranda Hart read her own book! Great to listen to didn't want it to end. Very funny too.
I love Miranda Hart and to listen to her comedic take on adult life and the very many awkward situations she has been through makes you love her even more!
love it. funny as well. good read. would listen to it again
I absolutely loved this book, love Miranda the t.v. show now I love this book 📖 to.
"Fun if a little too 'Miranda' for me, at times!"
Possibly but it did verge on too much silliness for me
Miranda's nuances were great but sometimes I felt a little irritated by those nuances too!
Is a great read had a good giggle at the same time. Love this women.
"A very, what I call, fun listen..."
This audiobook is narrated by the author. It is a fun listen, if you like Miss Hart (which I do), and even if you don't.
This is not a autobiography, but more an insight into Miranda's perspective on her life, as it is now, and how it was at 18. Such fun, for anyone who reflects on an awkward teenage phase and had to readjust their expectations of "adult" life in response to what that life has presented them with.
Slipping off bar stools and ejecting poo's from windows.
No. It was a great driving companion that I could dip in and out of.
Am afraid not. I liked her narration but found the content a bit forced.
This was the positive bit
A few funny moments but not many
