Say something about yourself!
This had everything you need in a romance book. Theres only one thing I would change and that is the timing. I would have liked the days to have been stretched out a little longer and more relationship build up between the 2. I know they are soul mates, but I didn't feel the love on Beths part. It was almost like just because they were soul mates the author left that getting to know eachother part out and rushed their love, not making it believeable to me. Beth pushed him away and then just gave in because they had a connection? I need more than that. I am looking forward to the next books in the series.
Hello, my name is Teresa and I'm an addict.
I liked the book okay but I didn't love it. There is lots of action which usually worked, but the Seals where constantly distracted by unimportant things which was distracting. The romance was an instant soul mate attraction. I don't normally care one way or another on how much time it takes but I felt the romance was a little off putting. The one thing that bugged me about this book was that the main characters would start to make out at the most inappropriate of times. Don't get me wrong I usually like make out sessions in books. It was the timing and places that was off. Plus Beth was always going to put her foot down, but as soon as she saw Zane pound his chest it was "ohh me Jane you Tarzan kiss me stupid". I probably won't continue on with this series because I have so many other books to read that may be my next obsession, this one for sure isn't it. The narrator does an okay job, I have listened to her before and I do like her but she is a little on the monotone side. I recommend Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series for awesome Seal/Romance stories.
Good idea for a plot; modestly written, but poorly preformed. Angela Dawe is very monotone in her performance and detracts from the few positive points of the story. I finished listening but the end was tough to plough through. Not a listen I would recommend.
I had added and removed this book from my wish list multiple times. I am so glad i finally took a chance. This book was great! the suspense kept me on edge and the romance kept me listening. I can't wait to read more!
I loved this!
Feisty heroine and seriously hot Hero Seal, with a hint of paranormal in the psychic link between them. She is clearly a Linda Howard fan, and I loved the little hints to some of her favourite books in some of the characters names and situations. There seem to be clear clues to further books with the secondary characters, but it's going to be a long wait till the next one - not till September!
Exceptional reader! Perfect for this highly intense and believable suspenseful book. I was right there.... on my toes throughout the WHOLE story. Look forward to more from author and reader! Especially enjoyed the telepathic theme!
I enjoy the stories of the SEALs, especially by Susan Brockman. This series looks like it will be just as good! Worth the credit or price.
This book ranks in my top 25 must read again.
Gets you interested and involved and keeps you there. Does not lag. Hard to put down.More twists and turns than a maze.
Moments of compassion for the victims.
