Shot in the crotch (so deserved)...have other moments but this tops my list.
Story is action packed, suspenseful, lots of twist...that's Navy Seal alright...totally recomended...cant wait for book 2 because there are so many loose ends that i want to find out about...other than this cliff hanger, loved it!
Wow, isn't really good enough to describe this book. The twist's and turns kept me right on the edge of my seat, through out the whole book!! Way to go Trish McCallan with your first book. I can't wait for the next one. This book is classy from the first page to the last. Do hope you stick with same format of lots of story and limited classy sex scenes.
Very Good Story
I like the plot and chartacters. Strong men and women
When the men took the woman seriously about the dream without condensending remarks. I liked the team.
Went back to see if this writer had any more books as one of the other review did. She didn't. Would like to hear more of her work.
Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
This was my first Trish McCallan book and i just Loved It :) This lady can write and i am defiantly snapping up the next in this series straight away !!
Mr Sexy, Lt Commander Zane Winters, has a history of seeing visions of events to come. Though they are never clear and detailed, they are always accurate. So when he gets flashes of danger on the airline him and his SEAL team 7 buddies are about to board in 90 minutes, they all know to take him seriously. But just as they are putting a plan into action, a shiver of awareness hits Zane square on. The woman meant for him (aka ‘mine, mine, mine) has just walked into the flight lounge area. What he doesn't know is that Beth is there to find him too...
Beth has been having dreams over the last 24 hours, and much of it is coming true. A warehouse fire…etc. really happened, which means the terrorist who plan to take down a flight from Seattle to Hawaii and divert it to South America will likely come true too. In her dream she sees Zane and his two officers, so out of desperation she goes to the airport in hopes these men are real and can help...
What unfolds is a fast action cat-and-mouse chase, plenty of thrill and bloody action, and finally a nice hot steamy closet scene with Zane and Beth. The timeline is a quick one day, but given the context of the story it felt believable. We meet many interesting characters, and have to guess who is the bad guy. Typical, yes, but still fun. There are PNR elements in the story, psychic visions etc that made the story that little more gritty and with the awesome Narration by Angela Dawe it made it even more believable... :)
I liked this one in audio
Navy seals and a love story...
Nice voice. She's easy to listen to.
I like the instant connection.
This book was fast paced and kept me on the edge the whole time. I loved the whole paranormal angle…it works here. The chemistry between Zane and Beth was hot. She had trust issues but Zane did not give up. I hated when it ended because I wanted to listen about the whole seal team 7. Can not wait for the next book!!!
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
It has alot of characters in this book so I assume there may be more books coming from this one. I like the concept of the story, but I did not feel it. At times I felt more emotions from secondary characters than the main characters.
The two main characters just don't click for me. The book has some very good parts but I never got sold on the storyline.
Chemistry between the main characters.
Like I said, I love the storyline but for some reason I couldn't "feel" the relationships like I have in other books I've listened to. I would recommend something else.
While I have both read and listened to this book I have to say I enjoyed it more when I read it. The narrators voice is overly dramatic to the point where everything sounds like a breathy super slouth question. Reminds of those old spy movies with Dick Tracey or something. The story itself is great.
Say something about yourself!
This had everything you need in a romance book. Theres only one thing I would change and that is the timing. I would have liked the days to have been stretched out a little longer and more relationship build up between the 2. I know they are soul mates, but I didn't feel the love on Beths part. It was almost like just because they were soul mates the author left that getting to know eachother part out and rushed their love, not making it believeable to me. Beth pushed him away and then just gave in because they had a connection? I need more than that. I am looking forward to the next books in the series.
I enjoy the story very much. it caught my attention right from the first paragraph. Then explained it an filled in the characters personal stories, as the story moved along. then with a twist you didn't see coming, then another right after...along the way with some humorous smiles and laughter from the authors audience. the only thing wrong with the story was over abundance of explanation of feelings an thoughts and the surroundings places the characters were in.
