A Christian, Husband, & Geek - in that order!!
This is a good "Tweener" book - you can tell this sets up the next book - I like it that way the new book that comes out will not have to start in a direction other than the book should go.

For background, my favorite authors are George R. R. Martin, Robin Hobb, Jacqueline Carey, Ken Follett, Bernard Cornwell, Kevin Hearne, Jim Butcher and Margaret George. My favorite illustrators are Johanna Basford, Millie Marotta, Richard Merritt, and Claire Scully (just to name a few).
I don't know, didn't read the print version.
The other Iron Druid books because duh it is one of them.
Luke Daniels has done a fantastic job of bringing the Iron Druid characters to life and because of that I would give anything he has narrated at least a chance.
Iron Druid stories always make me laugh!
If you are a fan of the Iron Druid chronicles, listen to this! If you aren't a fan? Why not?! Give Kevin Hearne a shot if you like fantasy and even if you don't. You most likely won't regret it at all. =)
Should've been longer.
We finally saw more of the Morrigan's "human" side. Oberon had some good one-liners.
This is definitely on par with the previous Iron Druid Chronicles performances. The main difference, of course, was the length. Quality did not suffer.
I loved the part where Atticus suggested taking the Morrigan to a baseball game.
It's a novella, not a novel. I would say it was just enough to leave me wanting more, but to be honest, I wanted more long before I started listening. I'm a big fan of the Iron Druid Chronicles, and this was just enough to hold me over until "Trapped" was released.
I love the book & the story line. It was just way too short. Waiting on the next story.....
Oden: so calm around Freea & quick to speak his mind when the ladies were not around..(Funny!!!)
Calm, Funny, & Great
Disappointment, Not enough story..
This novella goes into a more in-depth story to what is happening to Atticus and his apprentice between books 4 and 5. So this is basically book 4.5. I love this story series because it blends the common era to a old-fashioned druid who has merged with new styles, lingo, and acts like a common 20-something from today.
The reason I love this book and series, is because it allows for more development of story and explains many things that are not explained in the 12 year absence to book 5.
The narrator does a wonderful job and is one of the best readers out there. he has the ability to use accents like they are normal to him, he does a great job of differentiating between the males in the story and most of the females.
Overall, great story, narration, and filling in the holes that are developed between book 4 and 5.
I love to read, but I am time-limited. Audible allows me to keep up with all my favorite authors while on the hiking trail. Thanks, Audible!
Atticus and the crew are back in this short novella. Not a lot happens in this installment, and I don't really recommend listening to it. I do not think skipping it will detract from the next book in the series. As always, Luke Daniels is great.
this is just like getting addicted to something, you keep getting little doses until you are completely hooked, I just love this series.
A wonderful addition to the collection. I also can't wait until the next one. Luke Daniels was great again. And who knew? The Norse God Odin sounds like Sean Connery!
I love these stories
Oberon is the best by far
I love the way Luke does his voices.
