This is what the old Pitt books were like, good plot some history and action. None of the save the world Bull**** the other series are gravitating toward with every addtional book he "C.C". co writes. You'll get that reference if you read the last Pitt book.
Scott, not every one from Eastern Europe sounds like Adolf or Joseph just an FYI.
I drive an average of 350 miles a week. Without an audio book playing I would go bonkers.
The Fargos don't disappoint. I was always a die-hard Dirk Pitt fan, but Sam and Remy Fargo have taken his place! I love every single Fargo adventure without exception. The fact that Scott Brick reads all of them is just icing on the cake. I honestly don't know how Mr. Cussler keeps coming up with different ideas. Granted, most of his books are somewhat formulaic, but for sheer entertainment value these books just can't be beat.
The master as always.
Unlike the formula writers Cussler is able to create a story line and twist that continually entertain and puzzle me.
The story line was modern and believable. Thought his story line fresh with sustained suspense.
I thought it was a believable story and the bad guys were not over the top. I'm attracted to the historic mysteries so it was in my wheel house. I liked the mental aspect of the investigation without the braun to save the day.
Wow! Tough question because during the book I thought to myself on what a great transition he was making between characters. I don't have a favorite - he did a great job.
Lost in history the East and West come together to find the elusive warrior.
I love that Clive Cussler has a whole new series of books with a great cast. Just like his other series the Fargo's are an easy read and you wish you could be apart of their team to go on these great adventures
liked his voice, very easy to listen to
One of Clive Cussler's best in my opinion. Fascinating plot line and great delivery, as usual, by Scott Brick. I own nearly all of Cussler's books via Audible audiobook and this is one I'll listen to over and over.
Possibley, it was a great story, but I don't usually read books twice unless they are really great or part of a series. This was a fun interesting read.
I really like the Fargos, they are some of my favorite characters.
Scott Brick is one of my favorite narrators, I always look forward to any book he narrates
This was a great fast moving thriller. Its a great ride, like all of Cusslers novels of whom I am a big fan.
"You Had Me At Hello!" I've loved these two characters since the very first book. With that being said this book to me is the weakest of the series so far. There were only two times during the story that there really seemed to the kind of trouble and solutions that I have found the Fargos so good at finding their way out.I did really enjoy the two sub-characters. I have a dear friend that is just like one of those character and I always find it amazing. What ever you need he always know somebody or knows somebody who knows somebody.I do love the authors style even though I was a tad disappointed.....but only a tad. I can't wait for the next one!!!.
The ending was predictable and I expected the twist on twist but then I'm always thinking ahead in a Cussler book.
OMG! Have I listen to Scott Brick!!! He is one of my very favorite narrators. His male and female voices flow easily and he has the perfect timbre for this type of story! I do think the thriller/adventure is his best genre. You Rock Scott!!!
I did almost listen to this book in one sitting! I saved it up for a twelve hour drive I had. I have to make this drive once a year and I always save a Cussler book for that drive. Time just seems to fly.
I have never found a Cussler series I didn't like!
Scott Brick is a dreadful reader. I didn't notice when I clicked " add to cart" . I want my money back! Beware. This one you'll have to read!
Keeps you moving on walks, makes the time fly and gets you out when walking is not what you want to do. The Fargo's almost reach the status of super heros.
