I love to listen and read books. I don't waste a minute...I listen when I am driving, cleaning, getting my nails done, etc. Fiction books are my favorites.... mysteries.
I loved it. The story was suspenseful and engaging. Typical Sandra Brown. Highly recommend this one. I called my daughter as soon as I finished it to give her my recommendation.
Low Pressure is one of the best audiobooks I have listened to this year.
Lots of action and plot twists. It had the perfect combination of switchbacks from one characters story to another always leaving you waiting to get back. And what a surprise at the end.
I have listened to Chill Factor and enjoyed it - but Low Pressure is my favorite thus far. Both stories do a great job of character development which I believe is critical to any story. You learn about the characters and try to think what they will do next - it keeps you coming back.
History haunts the town after a terrible storm results in murder.
I particularly enjoyed Stephen Lang's narration, accents and character shifts in both Low Pressure and Chill Factor.
Loved the plot
Finding out what she blocked out.
Did a decent female voice.
The book will catch your attention from the very beginning. Sandra did a great job with different twists and turns through out the book.
I love audiobooks. They are so convenient.
I hadn't listened to a Sandra Brown book in a while. It was an okay book. It had all of the stuff that we ROMANCE READERS love, I wasn't crazy about Stephen Lang being the narrator.,
He sounded a bit old for the book. The male voice were alright, but the female voice could have been better.
I like Victor Slezak as the narrator for her books, so I guess that hearing a different narrator just didn't do for me.
I enjoy the audio so I can get wrapped into the book yet do other things.
I liked that not a single person seemed to be innocent.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
Yes, I just re listened as the first time was rushed.
Sandra Brown always has a twist, but you must watch for it to get the full enjoyment
Dent our hero, what sass!
I did the first time and missed many of the clues. I just re listened and really enjoyed it much better.
This book was good enough. Many of the parts were predictable and a little cliche. I never felt the urge that I had to listen to it, but never felt like I had to force myself to finish it either.
I loved the story but the narrator did not do a good female voice. It kinda ruined it for me.
Yes, however, the main male character made me uncomfortable with his sexual aggression, even when being told no.
The narrator did not do a good female voice so the main character sounded like a male pretending to be a female.
Do a re-record with a female narrator.
Another excellent story by Sandra Brown. Narration by Stephen Lang made the story even more enjoyable!
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
I enjoyed Dent...he was broody, cranky and lovable.
I have read about 10 Sandra Brown books and plan on reading a lot more - this makes my top 5.
Probably, although I'd prefer a different narrator
Other reviewers complain about why a wealthy woman would write about a painful past under a pseudonym and be upset when she is discovered, blah, blah, blah - while some aspects are a bit of a reach IT IS FICTION and I felt it was a good book overall. It held my interest and there were a lot of twists.
